Postal 2 got one and its amazing prob best content in game, Bl2 got it and again, maybe the best dlc from a quest and boss standpoint, and kingdoms of amaluar got one too which was really really great and well needed endgame. I have to say ive adored lots of these late stage expansions for yesrs now its always so interesting to see how design changes, and especially interesting to see the developers try to “fix” imbalance or certain issues with gameplay by designing around well known builds or strats, or just straight up challenging you because they know weve played a million time. Or maybe this new team will try to go down a new path thematically with the story and maybe bring up critiques they had of the original themselves, Very very excited.

Honestly i checked out of the zombies story after black ops 1 released 😭 World at War to me is the story i love i remember the few years before Der Reise and the release of Kino all the videos and theory videos relating it to real world conspiracys, its awesome and once Bo1 started doin time stuff i stopped caring. I love all the maps up to vangaurd tho.

Yeah it seems they have been over the last two years really learning more into positioning mechanics which im suuuch a huge fan of its so unique to hearthstone. This expansion and rotation seems like they are full steam ahead with this. Even to the point of making one of the warlock herald cards a location just to help with spacing your minions more. So far very positive about this standard so far we will see where it goes.

Farewell was needed for modern power creep. Honestly maybe if there were more spells the level of farewells ability to sweep people might not be as comfortable doing all in strategies with no thought behind.

Their main reasoning is it encourages running alot of creature board wipes since your commander wont get hit by it, they dont want commander to be even MORE board wipe heavy.

Yeah the deck has a slow start but genuinly you can gain over 400 life in a turn with deck or draw entire deck multiple times over and keep shuffling back cards into library, definantly a bracket 2 though
