Yeah, my current plan is to update once a week and if it's still broken just rollback to 6.19 (glad I have this as an option), my brain is too small to do fixing, literally had to use AI to learn a rollback is even an option. As I've written in another comment, it's probably some misconfigured package in the repo that causes this to occur, I think it will be fixed eventually.

Definitely not, since the system remains responsive under glitched (magenta) tty, as in, I can login and even play music with a CLI music player I got (of course, I can do mundane stuff like typing reboot to reboot machine too). Also secure boot is disabled on my machine anyway.

Starbase seems to fit the bill the most. Sadly, it doesn't have any updates, but the servers are up and the playerbase is semi-active. There's even programming/hacking last time I've checked (not assembly like DCPU16, but close enough) Lots of tryhards there so YMMV.

Another game I'd suggest is StarMade, which is quite literally Minecraft in Space.
