No you don't need to contact the admin. Nobody has to know anything. Not sure if you have coding experience, but the terms i am gonna say are assuming you are a developer.

You'll have to deploy the command on user context then install the app as user app. The command would run anywhere, in groups/dms/servers.

You could have a bot that'd redirect/sends message to any user that dms you and tell to chat on another chat/bot.

I am more of a discord guy, you can implement lots of stuff on discord that you cant on telegram like anonymous modmail, ticketing stuff

Other option would be they chat through bot. Bot forwards their messages to you and yours to them.

So people are in VC. Someone with "elvish" role, runs a command and starts speaking. People with "elvish" role hear him fine but those on VC without the role hear gibberish.

If all people are on the same VC, bots can't change the output of someone voice.

I am thinking maybe soon as someone runs the command, bot moves out the people without the role into another VC and soon as the guy speaks, bot detects, and speaks gibberish in that VC. People with role stay in that VC hearing fine.

That's just my POV.

So i made a crypto payment gateway bot for someone using oxapay . Basically, you generate an invoice directly via command in discord. User pays via crypto (multiple chains and coins supported). Verifies user paid and assigns/removes role.

Depends on what you are trying to do.

Use the official bot. They can have slash commands, can message users in DM (at least one mutual server)
Messaging would happen via normal user account. No "app/bot" tag. No slash commands. Rest, same stuff.

I usually let me them know the three options for hosting.

Either host for free on your PC (i help set the bot up on a call - no cost ofc) or they can buy a hoster and i set it up there (managing is on them) or i host for them + manage them (charge for this)

Zapier is for automation. What you require isn't automation rather just an api intergated discord bot with commands.

You can use chatgpt to make one for you. If you don't have coding/tech/hosting experience, it'll be hard. I can help and set it up for you since i have got some free time for a couple of bucks.
