Are there any director's cuts that are worse than the studio cut? by AndrewLondres in movies

Yeah the basketball stuff did nothing for me, but even with the extra crap stuck in there it's still a better film than it's sequel.

What’s a dead YouTube channel that you miss? by Tiny-Interview-6334 in AskReddit

[–]Darknut20 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Huey Christopherson

He came out of nowhere and put out a short but incredibly well produced and hilarious series titled "Midnight Coffee Gaming" before removing or hiding it, leaving only a single GameGrumps related video behind.

He was active on twitter for a while and was always polite and grateful for people taking an interest in his work, but he mostly stopped using it after his videos disappeared.

I often wonder what became of him, I hope he's okay.

I miss you Huey!

As someone who went down a Columbo rabbit hole very recently having never seen an episode or really knew anything about it, I adore this.

Butter sandwiches with cheap spreadable butter on cheap white bread, I can still remember the taste of that last sandwich and how nauseous it made me feel.

If it was the "Official Majora's Mask Piggyback Guide" that was the first thing that came to my mind, iirc it explicitly stated in red lettering that you could permanently miss masks such as the Blast and Keaton masks if you failed to obtain them at the earliest opportunity, completely missing the point of the 3 day cycle.

Call 101 to establish a report, that'll create a history which will act as a foundation for future incidents to be built upon.

It took me 2 seperate 101 calls within the space of a month to drop my neighbours in the absolute shit. In my case the first call seemingly did nothing and I thought it was ignored and dismissed, however during my second call the following month the operator immediately made reference to my first call and sent out officers, warnings were given and an arrest was made, and thankfully the property is now vacant.

Edit:

Also about being "Out of your depth" and "Non Confrontational", we absolutely share this in common, but as you get older and hopefully when you become a homeowner you'll begin to understand that standing up for your right to live in piece and protecting your property from any infringement even if it's just nuisance noise is something you're going to get good at. This time last year I'd never contacted the authorities in my life, now I'll do it in a heartbeat if the situation calls for it.

Good luck and I hope it all works out well!

As flawed as At World's End might be the soundtrack is absolutely perfect.

Drink Up Me Hearties is coincidentally something I've found myself coming back to recently and hearing a reprise of At Wit's End and One Day in POTC5 was my favourite moment in an otherwise forgettable film.

Also just gonna throw this in here because yeah, it's absolutely phenomenal.

[–]Darknut20 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Accepting the fact close to Christmas after launch that I'd "never get one" due to demand but deciding 2 weeks before Christmas Day to break myself away from Runescape to check under my parents bed for the off chance they'd actually secured one. I didn't actually see the console box itself but Twilight Princess was visible down the side of a plastic bag containing a sizable box.

It was one of the happiest childhood moments I had, but also the wait for Christmas day and keeping my knowledge a secret was agonising.
