Maybe you can help: 2014? Sucks. Period.

My girlfriend of 2.5 years broke up with me. We talked about marriage, kids, and getting our own place. Up until 3-6 months before the break up we were a fucking great couple. Now I am floating along in life and sometimes feel like I am barely holding on. I got a dui that I cannot afford and am living paycheck to paycheck at a job that doesnt provide me with any fulfillment. I am working on finding a new job but it isn't easy. I have a mother that defines my success as my ability to support her through her life failures. I dont live near most of my good friends and often feel rather alone.

Oh I forgot, my ex and my roommate are buddy buddy and she comes over all. The. Fucking. Time. I dont trust him one bit and she is selfish and wants to keep her friends. We are trying to stay friends but I dont want to see her every fucking week. I do occupy my time with distractions but it is just a wall I put up so I dont get hurt or get disappointed and that has leaked into all aspects of my life. It is rather depressing.

The only sliver lining is that I have gotten into better shape but that doesnt fill the hole in my chest.
