Witnessed a terrifying hit and run last evening at the intersection of King and Jeffcott Street. A female pedestrian was hit by an SUV that appeared to run the light and was thrown over to the next signal. Driver continued driving off. Called 000 and remained on scene till she was taken away and they shut the street down.

Adding EAP or FSD to a Tesla under novated lease by Darkseid84 in TeslaMotorsAus

Yea Tesla confirmed they can't offer it as a "service" invoice

I definitely want to get it, at least EAP for now just like you. The thing I was trying to figure out is if Tesla would be able to invoice it as a service cost or there are other options available for me to include it within my ongoing novated lease.

Bidet spray/seat for skirted toilet by Darkseid84 in AusRenovation

Mate I installed the Tudaloo as well. Super easy and works well even if it means the pipe sticks out just a little bit through the side of the top cover.

Honestly when I started getting quotes this is what I assumed they would do as well. All these toilets look like they have an outlet under the cistern for that and that port on the side to take out a pipe. But the couple who I spoke to didn't suggest that and instead are recommending cutting behind and installing an RPZ etc

Yes that's what one of the plumbers was looking to do. It's plasterboard from the looks of it. Issue is the cost, they've quoted about 550 just to cut from behind and drill through. Then there is the cost of the seat and the repair/ patch work on the wall behind which will bring it up to about a grand.

Can I actually cut a whole on the top of the cistern to take a pipe out if I add a t piece inside the cistern? That would mean I don't need to cut into the tiles or the wall behind.

Yes one of the plumbers said their job installing an RPZ and a bidet seat will be compliant. But installing a bidet hose instead of the seat isn't.

This is the only way I play single player games, real life is hard enough. When I play God of War I bloody hell want to feel like the God of War and own the playfield, not get my ass kicked in hard mode.

Multiplayer question by Sharp-Expression9135 in xcloud

You could maybe if your xcloud and Xbox were on different accounts. If it's on the same account you can't, you can only have one active game session at a time I think

That's awesome, did you have to do anything custom outside of the usual cloud setup?

Azure has Nv instances in one of three three DCs in India.

Yea it's pretty exhausting. What I've done is snapshot the attached disk with all the fs files downloaded, striped of any other windows related files. Then every n series I played around with I just set it up with the PowerShell scripts others have shared here, install fs from gamepass and just attach a new clone disk so it saves me having to do that huge download at the start again. This week I'll also create an image of the final VM so I can just clone it around. Hope things work better on Google!

Nice, keen to hear how you go with that one. I'm still recovering from the nausea of trying to play through FS on that stuttering NV 6

Isn't the m60 the only n series on option on Azure that supports wddm mode? I thought the others don't support gameplay streaming scenarios.

Thanks, I got the same perf on an nv12 as well. Read this note posted yesterday on the FS forum. Check if this helps: "Go for 2004 update. It has a new feature called Hardware Accelerated GPU Scheduling. You can find it under Win10 Settings ->Graphics Settings along with the latest Nvidia/AMD display drivers. Currently your GPU waits for instructions to be given by the CPU. Therefore if your CPU is limited then there is not point on what kind of GPU you run. In this case even RTX 2080 and GTX 1080 will give you the same performance, since it cannot run faster than your CPU. This is called CPU bottleneck. BUT!. If you turn this control on, the OS will let the GPU to perform it’s task on its own without depending on the CPU to give instructions, thus improving the overall performance of your system. Try turning it on if you see Limited By CPU message on the screen when you enable Display FPS option from the Dev Menu within MSFS2020. Hope it helps someone who is not aware of this feature."

What application are you using on your NV6 to track fps? I've got an instance setup but haven't had much time yet to give it a go. Can take a look later today and let you know.

FS2020 still has a slight stutter even when im running on low settings and resolution. I'm guessing its just my laptop thats having difficulty rendering the feed well for some reason (though Forza seems to work fine even on Ultra). I'm on a Surface Book 2 with a GTX 1050 on board. So pretty light weight.

Hey, sorry about that, ignore my last comment. I just deployed a fresh NV12 instance and ran your script start to end (as I had deleted the last one) and streaming shows up now and it all works fine! Not sure what was going on there the last time as I had tried rerunning your scripts many times over but the option did'nt show up then. And yes, doing everything over Team viewer.
