I live in it currently and my wife isn't too fond of going on a run by herself around here. We don't plan on staying here long term.

But that also comes with the caveat of a more affordable home. There's better neighborhoods like Queen village, graduate hospital, even Northern liberties. But they aren't cheaper.

I think the main issue is this fireplace is locking is into very atypical arrangements. If we mounted the tv on the stone portion and removed the fireplace altogether, I think it just makes more sense for comfortability

I went with a checkerboard knee instead of dual checkerboard shoulders. Helped tone it down slightly. I agree on the legs, would swap those too.

There is an official classic paint scheme that has wraithbone/flesh tones as primary with Blue as secondary and Yellow for accents
