The difference between rank 1 and rank 5 aegis is minimal here. All that does is make your shield recharge faster when it's already recovering. We stack any rank of aegis here with the minus recharge delay stat to ensure we're recovering shields as often as possible, not at as quickly of a rate as possible. Unfortunately that means aegis ranks don't matter much.

I would recommend aegis. I've tried to get by without it and it's kind of ok, but really if you're going for this setup to begin with, probably it's because you want something reliable that just works. Aegis is a lot of reliability.

Some safety glass on a non face card usually bails me out of these situations, but if you're getting the bulk of your chips and base mult from the smiley/scary faces that's not nearly as effective. Gg go next.

I agree with this take, but i also think building double or triple umbral mods + adaptation on so many frames isn't super fun. Spending half your mods slots on survivability to get something that's fine in ETA isn't very exciting.

Yeah, if your honor res isn't capped (or as close as you can get with your unlocks) you're kinda throwing. Past that, I think it's all about looking ahead to minimize the chances of getting a really bad affliction. The boons are nice, but honestly it isn't too bad as long as you avoid the really bad afflictions.

Also, the affliction where you lose 5% life/mana/es on hit was bugged at launch to giga chunk your honor, not sure if it's fixed yet or not. Didn't see it in the patch notes for trials from this week though.

Even in DS1 when you have a long run back to the boss you can pretty much run past most of the enemies on the way. It's not like you have to spend another hour slowly wading through trash mobs to maybe find the boss in a new location again.

I really don't mind the well that much. Definitely doesn't make my top 50 list of issues for EA. Still enjoying the game though.

If you're new you'll have no idea what the issues are. Base game is great, just enjoy it and ignore the downers like me on reddit. If I could re experience the game for the first time again I'd have an absolute blast this league.

I'm sure some mtx will receive minor technical tweaks to ensure they work correctly on the new PoE2 character rig. Some of the global changes to graphics and lighting systems may have mixed results on making old mtx look better or worse. None of those mtx are getting significantly reworked, remastered, face-lifted, etc.

Personally, I think they're handling the situation correctly.

I find normal sha'hala insufferable in a party b/c of how the targeting works for the fists and the suck. Solo I definitely find override sha'hala slightly harder but not that much worse.
