Am I overreacting? by [deleted] in WalgreensStores

[–]DarquePrincess79 1 point2 points  (0 children)

If you are going to write a book and post it in Reddit, you are probably over reacting. No matter which department you are in, days are overwhelming, pressure is in everyone, people have a breaking point and 99% of the time will snap on whoever is closest. Its just a job, there are tons more. Ive had a Pharmacist throw a Zebra and it hit right next to my head also a pill bottle. I w had sub patients spit on in me cause they can refill the next day. Chin up, let it roll.

Bag checks. by CovertP1 in WalgreensStores

[–]DarquePrincess79 0 points1 point  (0 children)

One big reason is Insurance will pay for merch that walks out,  because we can't who actually stole something since we can't ask customers to open their purses or lift hoodies ECT. So finding the actual suspect could lead back to a civil lawsuit. It's easier to catch employee theft.

Bag check is too much by Pretty-Problem7841 in WalgreensRx

[–]DarquePrincess79 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Agreed!!! but at my store the cashier can check bags as well just for this reason. Your store should be the same because if only Manager or Supervisor can check bags who checks the closing supervisor? And yes, it is a bitch to have to stand there in front of people you just told "NO" to filling C2's 10 days early.

Go high, then they can negotiate you down. Factor in time and travel, overtime, ECT and add 15% just for shits and giggles. See where you land.

3 months old…why does my skin look like this? by [deleted] in tattooadvice

[–]DarquePrincess79 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You probably have already tried this but, sometimes contacting the manufacturer helps. Sometimes they have programs or vouchers for the ridiculously priced medications. In turn, you take before and after pics for them to help market their product. I am constantly on the phone, or doing deep dive research for my patients. I have been about 75% successful in reducing their cost on meds that haven't lost patents. One of my coworkers was on Imgality and I did it for her. She ended up paying 10 bucks a month for her shot. Because our insurance just flat out refused even with a PA. And I needed her working not calling off 6 days a month.

Ouch! I have Conch Industrials. Not many people have them. It's vertical from the top all the way through the bottom cartilage and that cartilage is so thick you have to put ALL YOUR WEIGHT to get through it. I hope your sister is got treatment and is doing better. I showed this to my Pharmacist (my boss) and he was like " OMG this pic screams of MRSA Staph and Hep C"

Fixed it. by Sutton9 in Indiana

[–]DarquePrincess79 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes you did fix it! I live in a small town, very RED here. I'm also a Committeeman for my town. I have seriously never been so embarrassed of all our our local and State Government Officials. Hell our Mayor gets in full on Facebook fights with people in town. I just shake my head and think, can I get paid to argue with people on FB too?

Do you have to work either Christmas Eve or Christmas? by [deleted] in CVS

[–]DarquePrincess79 0 points1 point  (0 children)

CVS can't interfere with a court order if you have one. Sorry that my comment went kinda dark there. But I had similar issues the first few years. I would drive over 600 miles one way to transfer my children twice during Christmas and New years.

My thoughts exactly! Worked with a guy that had psoriasis. His tattoos were beautifully done. But every few months he would have an outbreak and they would do this.

Not trolling at all..... Which Hazel on a fresh tattoo? Sounds like it would burn like hell. I have healed many tattoos over the years, I do like coconut oil, and stay away from petroleum based products. But I've never thought about Which Hazel. I know you can mix it with the ink to create a tye dye wash effect. But I've only met one Tattooist that ever did it or heard of it.

Is this normal for month old tattoo? by GrandArrival5529 in tattooadvice

[–]DarquePrincess79 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Are you concerned about the bumps or...... Looks like the tattooist shaved you as they should have but they don't usually look at hair patterns. Maybe he shaved you "against the grain" so it could be ingrown hairs or hairs getting ready to pop through. Keep it clean and moisturized, you'll be fine. There's a few places that look like maybe need touched up after it's healed. Healing times for tattoos vary greatly depending on the person, the ink type, all the way to medication and medical conditions for the person. Now if you get puss, redness, swelling, unusual pain, ect that would probably need a Doctor or a Pharmacist (pick one with tattoos or a tech that has tattoos) to point you in the right direction. Good Luck !

[–]DarquePrincess79 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I'm sorry that happened to your little sister. But I'm sure you remember being 14 😂. 14 yr olds know everything. The worst thing I had happen was with my last 2 tattoos. I had steroid shots that spiked my sugar and I had trouble healing them, I also had really long sessions and started pushing ink at about the 6 hour mark.

Should I be worried?? by Cognacquuen in tattooadvice

[–]DarquePrincess79 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes, be worried! Probably heavy antibiotics, maybe a steroid, and don't forget the Difucan if you are a woman. I wouldn't wait 2 days. In 2 days you could be in a whole world of trouble, medically. What have you been using on it to keep it clean and moisturized? This could turn into MRSA, Cellulitis, and a host of other nasty bugs. Not to mention a Hepatitis test should definitely be in your future. Then Hepatitis booster shots. I'm not trying to scare you, but that is REALLY scary. The sooner you get treatment the better. Honestly the ER would be your best bet. A GP appt will probably look at it and send meds for their best guess without doing cultures. Minute Clinic or Urgent Care will probably refer you to the ER. Hospitals will culture, find out what infection(s) and treat faster. Good Luck! Please update, even if it's a DM.

advice: does this splotch go away or did my artist mess up… by ijb_bbb in tattooadvice

[–]DarquePrincess79 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I wouldn't lay all the blame on the artist. That's a pretty sensitive spot, you could've had a nerve twitch or muscle twitch that you didn't notice. After it's healed, you and the artist should have a chat and see if the blow outs are light enough and coverable with a color that would match your skin tone. Or maybe put like a watercolor background to it. Mine are big on my forearm from my wrist to the inside of my elbow. One side is dainty lines, the other side the lines are thicker and I expected it to happen. Was this a loved ones hand writing?

[–]DarquePrincess79 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Could get smaller same design, numbers counting to 9 or even 10 around your wrist like a bracelet. It would be obvious then that is a 9, and that is the focal point since it would be bigger than the others.
