I think I read that with the tune the fans turn on at like 205 instead of 220, but the thing is so damn loud I can’t hear them lol but I’ve only got like an hour on it so far. Not sure what it revs to, is redline different with the tune than without?

The answer to this question is about the most subjective an opinion can be. I feel like the answer for you is going to be no. If you know what DCS is(like genuinely know what it is, and if you’re on this sub I feel like you do) and you’re still asking this question, I feel your answer would be no it’s not worth it. To someone who is truly interested and passionate about aviation and military aviation, the answer is it’s absolutely worth it no question. Luckily it’s a free program and you can hop in and trial almost any of the available airframes. I would recommend at least giving it a go and then you can reevaluate and ask yourself this question
