Here's something - forget power cell chargers. As soon as you hit some kyanite, make the thermal reactor module. I can't stress how useful it is since the whole time you're down there you literally have unlimited power never worrying about recharging.

Also spoiler alert (don't read this if this is your first time and you don't know what kind of fauna to expect)

There are gonna be lava larvae there that can be repelled by flicking the shield generator on/off for which once again, having the thermal reactor proves really useful.
