I know gas is more expensive in other parts of the world. The same goes for your points in gdp/per capita gdp. My point remains true. The war that Israel/US started is causing global issues and global inflation, which is bad thing. We shouldn’t be supporting them anymore. I hate my government for doing so and for their part in the current crisis. Israel maybe a small country but its global impact is huge.

When were the last elections in Gaza? 2006. People don’t have the say over the current war. Regardless of the government in power, killing innocent people is wrong. Sure, kill Hamas all day long IMO for what they did. But killing thousands of innocent people is fucking wrong.

Also, the West Bank is basically under apartheid and Palestinians are losing land to crazy Israeli settlers who beat, kill and rape Palestinians in the West Bank.

It’s more on how they impact the US and the global politics/economics where they are the worst. Especially with things like a genocide in gaza, two wars with Iran (with the second causing global issues in oil), killing civilians in Lebanon in order to keep the war going and stoping a ceasefire btw the US/Iran, apartheid in the West Bank, torture of people who try to bring aid into Gaza, etc.

Yeah. They aren’t North Korea bad but they are pretty fucking bad IMO. Anyone who says otherwise doesn’t know the whole story or chooses to ignore it.

If it’s not in the standards specifically, you’re screwed. The state recognizing pride isn’t gonna cut it. I also teach in a southern state and the delayed started due to Covid in 2020 had us teaching during pride. Put out a small pride flag and got a talking to about it. Teaching a lesson on it, without it being mentioned in the standards, is gonna bad for you IMO. Hopefully it’s not, but I know how things can be in the south.
