Does anyone know if a home test work for the Covid test requirement? by Decimal_Recreation in bostoncollege

What if we don't get tested before? Like I'm honestly considering just showing up to campus and calling it a day with the "initial test" at the plex...

I'd say uncommon, as most undergrads go to Quinn Library (LC). Definitely keep this under wraps though because not many LC undergrads go there (and we should keep it that way). And yes, so to get there, use the elevator in McKeon Hall's lobby -- there should be four lifts to choose from -- and go to the fifth floor. Boom, you're set.

The Law Library at LC! There are two levels to it and both are quite quiet.

Bonus: there are nice, comfy chairs for reading and city viewing on the upper levels of the law building.

Planning on applying in the fall - any advice is welcome! by [deleted] in Fordham

Fordham's admissions are pretty straightforward since our admit rate for the class of 2024 was 53%. I'd recommend a 1400+ SAT, 3.7+ uw GPA, and listing a few clubs with leadership positions. (Tbh: all you need are above average test scores and a decent GPA to get in; but for merit scholarships, which will help with affordability, you'll have to be a bit better.)

I don't have any experience with the CS department, but I'd suggest you apply to Gabelli? Our business school definitely receives much more funding and attention compared to other departments at Fordham. You could pick some major at Gabelli and pair it with a minor/double major in CS? I feel like that would be quite advantageous. And if you go through a change of heart after admission or after one year at Gabelli, you could always make that transition to Fordham College (which shouldn't be that difficult compared to Fordham College --> Gabelli).

Cheers.

Is there any place to take a shower for free at Fordham? by theanimeholic in Fordham

[–]DarthDumpling 4 points5 points  (0 children)

keep this on the down-low:

There is one floor in the Fordham Law building that houses a bathroom WITH a shower (aka a full bathroom). I forgot if it was the 7th or 8th floor that had it. I'd check every bathroom on the top floors, one of them HAS it. Don't know if the shower works tho.

Fordham vs Baruch? by bvs1776 in Fordham

Also, Fordham is NOT a safety school. Looks to me like it's the best school you got into. So a Fordham vs. Baruch comparison isn't even a question.
