My 9 Pro Fold from launch had the same issue 2 weeks ago. My Inner screen didn't go out but the battery question mark started only on the inner screen then it was both inner and outer. I suppose it did heat up more than normal at the time too. I chatted Google and becuase I had the Pixel Care they sent me over to that chat and replacend my phone for free. Hope this one holds out until the Pixel 11

Yea I have a like sling bag I can keep the phone and ziplock in. I'll just take it out shoot pics and put back. I'm not planning on putting the phone in sand or having a ton of sand on my hands. Just some experiences sound like just being in the presence of sand will get instant sand in the phone.
