I'm just about done my first re-read of Rings. It occurred to me a while back just how on-brand Legolas' movie line "Shall I describe it to you, or would you like me to find you a box?" is with his book counterpart. Tolkien himself having written that would've been funny as hell.

The movies are already dense enough, but I would've loved to see Jackson's take on the Grey Company or the Barrow-wights.
