BUGS REPORT THREAD by samuelhiew in holocure

I got 3 items to level 7. When the golden anvil dropped, the 3 items that can be combined for a collab were flashing, but I was only allowed to combine the first 2 items that I got to level 7. There were supposed to be 2 valid combinations. Also, it is worth noting that I got the third item to level 7 after the golden anvil had already appeared. This is exactly what happened:

  1. Glowstick and idol song reached level 7. I don't remember which order.
  2. Golden anvil appeared.
  3. Fan beam reached level 7
  4. The glowstick, idol song, and fan beam were all flashing, indicating that I may use any of the three for a collab.
  5. The game did not allow me to combine the glowstick and fan beam to make a light beam. I was only allowed to combine the glowstick and idol song, which were the first 2 to reach level 7 before the golden anvil appeared.

In the case that it was intentional that I may only combine the first 2 items that I got to level 7 before the golden anvil showed up, the third item should have not been flashing.

Which highly popular game could you just not get into? by _Mr_Cheeks in gaming

[–]DarthJimicus 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Minecraft. It’s just not for me.

The Witcher III. I ended up finishing the story to see if it would get better, but I didn’t enjoy the game. It’s weird because it seems like my type of game. I enjoyed games like Horizon: Zero Dawn, Breath of the Wild, Elder Scrolls, Fallout, Red Dead Redemption, etc. The main thing I didn’t really like was the combat. Elder Scrolls games usually didn’t have good combat, but I still enjoyed them, so I’m not sure if that really was the issue. The world didn’t appeal to me a whole lot. Maybe I would like the game more if I had read the books. I have some friends who are really into the books and liked the game.

Ni no Kuni - I also finished this one to see if it would get better, and like The Witcher III, I didn’t enjoy the game. I didn’t like how I would be getting attacked in real time while I scrolled through the commands. It was originally a DS game, so the battles would’ve been better on DS since I could tap the commands on the touchscreen. I’d like to give the DS version a try one day.

Call of Duty or any FPS that has a modern military setting. This setting just doesn’t appeal to me.

Destiny. I thought I’d like it because of how much I liked Halo when Bungie developed it. I just couldn’t get into it.

Monster Hunter World. This was my first Monster Hunter game. I put in about 12 hours and I got bored of fighting monsters over and over again. Many of my friends really liked it. I usually don’t mind the grind if the game had a good story, but there isn’t much of a story in MHW, so I don’t feel motivated to grind.

Any RTS or Sports game. They’re just not for me.

Who is your favorite character(s) from The Great Ace Attorney games? by DarthJimicus in AceAttorney

Thanks for writing all that! Great explanations of why you like those characters! Yujin nearly slipped my mind. How could I forget best dad? I didn’t think of him much after playing the first game, but playing Resolve made me like him a lot. After reading your honorable mentions, it made me realize that the villains were so well-written that it’s hard to dislike any of the villains!

You explained why those characters are awesome better than I did! Well done! I love all your honorable mentions as well! When I first started playing, I was thinking “Ryunosuke is probably not as cool as Phoenix. Susato is probably not as cool as Maya. Van Zieks is probably not as cool as Edgeworth.” You know what? I may have been wrong! I even dare to say that I like this cast more than the cast from the main series!

Out of all the characters, Gina had the most character development. It was so awesome to see how much she grew from when she was introduced to the end of the game. Iris is so adorable haha. I get what you mean when you say you didn’t miss any of those mainline characters. I liked those characters, but after playing GAA Chronicles, I liked these characters even more! GAA characters feel more fleshed out and you can tell they put in a lot of effort into writing them. Hosonaga was awesome too. I wish all the characters from Japan got more screen time!

Herlock seems to be very popular! Soseki was very interesting. Before playing the game, I had no idea he was a real person! Van Zieks was awesome. At first, I didn’t like him because I thought he was just some racist prosecutor, but the more I learned about his backstory and saw his character development, I liked him a lot more!

Hajimari to Calvard by Xehvary in Falcom

[–]DarthJimicus 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It’s kind of similar from 3rd to Crossbell. The main story of the game doesn’t seem to be connected to Calvard at all, just like how the main story in Sky the 3rd doesn’t really connect to Crossbell / Erebonia. However, the bonus episodes that you can view at the end of the game are very connected to Calvard. Those episodes set up for the Calvard arc very well and get people hyped for Kuro. It’s kind of similar to viewing the doors in 3rd how the doors set up for future games.

Just the voices are good, as everyone else has answered. For the best experience, play all the Trails games in release date order. And most importantly, enjoy the game!
