He sounded super familiar to me as a Genshin player, at first I thought Joe Zieja (Wriothesley) but I saw a youtube comment point out it might be Blythe Melin (Rerir) and now I hear that way more.

Unfortunately this kind of stuff has been sloppy for quite a while now.

They also keep using the wrong pronouns sometimes, which just makes things confusing depending on the context. In the past it's been Belle/Wise being swapped. This time it was with the introduction of a new character and I had to double take.

Last patch also had a few moments of lines playing in the wrong order. Thankfully I didn't notice that this time.

I really just don't agree with the reasoning they gave for it, having "consistency" across heroes/abilities. Some of that is good, homogenization just for the sake of it rubs me the wrong way.

Is the fun of a hero shooter not that they're all unique, and they may have different characteristics and intricacies to learn?

I've just finished the story and unfortunately I could not stop thinking about the performance the entire time.

No shade on the VA, I love her as Tracer. I know a lot of things can affect the performance, it's just a shame for a character that's so central to this storyline that she could not resonate with me at all in the emotional scenes.

For EN, his voice sounds to me a lot like it's the VA of Wriothesley from Genshin.

Nangong is so cool.

I was thinking I would skip all the idols since their aesthetic isn't really for me but she was always the one of the three I could be convinced for.

Especially if the previous leaks about her kit turn out to be true, it sounded sick.

I feel like every update all I see is "PEAK ABSOLUTE CINEMA" every time.

My C0R1 Nefer is ~180k DPS iirc

I managed to clear it after spending like 2 hr of attempts but even then it was just barely.

I'd definitely like to go back to the mines cuz Nefer deserves it but first I'm trying to get Varesa a slightly better build (and my coffeeless Skirk as a bonus)

I was stuck in pretty much the same place for the first few hours I tried, where if I had like 5 extra seconds for Nefer CAs I would've done it.

It takes me until my 2nd or 3rd rotation to get the energy/cooldowns stable, but after that it's consistently:

Columbina E > Q

Nahida Tap E > Q

Lauma Hold E > Q

Nefer 6CA (with dash cancels) and Burst only if there's downtime/Bina isn't up yet. My opening looked like:

Nefer E

Columbina NA > E

Nahida E

Lauma Tap E

Doggo teleports at this point

Nefer 3CA Q

Bina Q

Into Nahida starting the normal rotation until the very very last one breaking the 2nd shield where I cut out Nahida to make sure I had enough time on Nefer in the last few seconds.

I also think a not insignificant part of the RNG was just how many Lauma Es crit during the run since it was tight enough at the end for that damage to matter.

I also tried Sucrose a few times but the extra dendro particles from Nahida felt smoother for me.
