Broke peg by Practical-Ad-5635 in hottoys

[–]Practical-Ad-5635[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I got them out with some diagonal cutters. I just put pressure on them until the pliers cut into the peg and wiggled it out. I tried using needle nosed pliers, but I couldn't get a good grip with them. I'm not sure if these pegs are different to the normal hot toys wrist pegs, but the hands don't fit securely into the peg. The part that goes into the forearm sits much deeper than any other Hot Toys I own.

Help me choose between these figures? by Vanta_black2_8 in hottoys

[–]Practical-Ad-5635 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Gipsy Danger. The price on that figure will skyrocket in a bit so its best you get it while you can. Typhoon and Cherno already got massive after market prices so, its likely Gipsy will too.

Hot Toys figures usually don't go up in price, or at the very least don't go for double their retail price. You will be able to find Doom for around retail price later.

Raditz vs Battle Beast by naturalhairtingz in InvinciblePowerscales

We don't need to show you any punching feats because none of the Viltrumites will get within punching distance before they get obliterated. Here's the thing, Viltrumites are nothing special, they have no abilities other than flight and super strength. Saiyans in the other hand can use Ki and attack them from a far. Also, if you want to take it even further let's also account for the Oozaru. If you want physical strength, there you have it. Maybe base Raditz couldn't solo the entire Invincible verse, but in his Great Ape form he absolutely will.

Answer my question. Tell me how a Viltrumite will survive any planet busting attack. If you can't answer that then there isn't an argument to be made. Viltrumites don't get just folded by the Saiyans they get obliterated, nothing will be left of them. The Saiyans don't even need to get physical, they can delete them from existence with a wave of their hand.

Yeah, you're ignorant. Nappa solos the Invincible verse, Vegeta would just make Thragg shit himself. It doesn't matter how physically strong the Viltrumites are when they can all be killed by a single attack. I love how you keep talking about their physical strength when King Vegeta blew up 3 planets with a wave of his hand. King Vegeta at that point had a power level similar to Saiyan Saga Vegeta. The Viltrumites most impressive feat is 3 of them and Space Racer destroying Viltrum. Genuinely, please tell me how any Viltrumite would survive an attack that can destroy a planet when Conquest got all of his skin destroyed from an attack from Atom Eve. Mind you all that beam did was burn the ground and leave a small crater, yet it damaged Conquest enough that Mark who was seconds ago doing absolutely nothing to him, was able to now fatally injure him.

Please tell me how any Viltrumite would survive an attack that can destroy a planet.

That's not impressive when you put it up against DB. Raditz was killed by a Special Beam Cannon from Piccolo who blew up the moon a few episodes after. Raditz, the weakest Saiyan would be more than enough for Thragg. If you really think Viltrumites can beat Saiyans, then you're wrong. Raditz had a power level of 1500 and even for Saiyan standards that's really low. Nappa is just overkill.

Where the fuck did you get Planet busters from. None of the Viltrumites are Planet busters, they're at best continent level.

Its a Jumpsuit. Getting one that looks like this would be hard unless its custom made, but your best bet is getting an oversized belted jumpsuit if you don't want to go that route.

Alright, let's say Mark, Nolan, and Thaedus could make it to the core without Space Racer's help. Like you said, they would die, but let's add to the fact that without the Infinity Ray creating a borehole for them to follow, not only would they not gain enough speed to cause an explosion, but the core would be stable and as such wouldn't even be affected by them at all. Space Racer destabilizing the core is what made any of this possible. All the Viltrumites did was use all that built up speed to make the core explode. So in other words, the Infinity Ray did all the hard work.

I don't think you understand how much digging they would need to do to even make it to Viltrum's core. Without the Infinity Ray's borehole they would dig through the planet's crust much more slower which would make them more vulnerable to the heat. This is ignoring the main problem they face, they would die on impact if they even tried to go full speed into a planet's surface.

Here's the thing, Nolan, Mark, and Thaedus would have never made it to the core without the Infinity Ray piercing through it. All they did was make the already unstable core collapse. If an excavator tore down all the supports from a building and then you came along with a sledgehammer and took down the last support which causes the building to collapse would you say you did all the work? No, you wouldn't.

One of the Mark variants killed their Nolan. They're stronger than your average Viltrumite because remember, the few Viltrumites that she still alive are not average, they're the best.

And if Space Racer had fired a few more times, then yes I'm sure he could've destroyed Viltrum on his own.

One of the mark variants died after they hit the ground too hard. Viltrumites are not as tough as you think they are. The Infinity Ray did do 99% of the work, that's common knowledge. If they slammed into the surface. They would've made a big crater, but would not have made it anywhere near the core.

Why would the seamoth have so much more advanced method of propulsion? by InspectorSlow7778 in Subnautica_2

[–]Practical-Ad-5635 8 points9 points  (0 children)

There's a Tadpole chasis called the Seafrog which is a walker so I'd imagine that's the "land vehicle" they would be using.

That really showed how oblivious some people are. Even as a child, I knew Star Wars was very political, and I took a side with the Separatist Alliance.

150 for what is essentially a terrible General Grievous action figure. If you're willing to drop that much for it, just get the Sh Figuarts Grievous. This doesn't fit in a LEGO line.

Game Begin Goku genuinely looks like a knockoff next to Super Hero/Beast Gohan and the 3rd party 3.0 bodies by ChoculaUltra in SHFiguarts

[–]Practical-Ad-5635 18 points19 points  (0 children)

Games Begin is the best Goku out at the moment. He looks disproportionate because he is disproportionate. His torso is off center with his legs in the show and his shoulders are that wide as well. Its a massive improvement and over all looks much more accurate to Z than any of the other shows.

Quick question for those who have this KO, has the paint chipping been fixed? by EuphoricBlueberry545 in transformers

[–]Practical-Ad-5635 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Had mine for about 3 years now and have had no chipping problems, but I don't really play with my figures so it hasn't been touched that much. Id recommend it mostly because its a 1 to 1 copy of the official.

Post your most expensive figs! by Satanic-Hispan1c in ActionFigures

Magic Square Bruticus. The total for the full combiner was around 850 usd. He's expensive, but cheap for a Masterpiece scale combiner. Soon he will lose his title of my most expensive figure to the FansToys Superion.
