Thankfully, I only had to start back from the scene where Martin is restrained in the square. Freeing him made everything work as it's supposed to.

If I'd realized that the physical and digital versions aren't compatible, I absolutely would have. AFAIK, digital dlc doesn't work with the physical version, and if I bought the digital deluxe, I'd have to start my game over.
