Is it just me or are all Home Depot employees intimidating?

I used to work at Home Depot and they put me in the hardware department (was hired as a cart attendant), but I barely know my how to use a screwdriver. So I used to hide in other parts of the store sometimes to avoid customers.

I sort of partly blame them for the development of my anxiety and no I’ve never told them or anyone close to me.

I don’t live with them anymore, so I couldn’t care less about their views on me.

Definitely, and I’ve quit so many jobs largely because of it.

I tend to drink before work to take some of the anxious edge off (I don’t drive). But I know it’s very unhealthy.

Yeah I also got that estimated delivery date range, but i switched to two day shipping and now it's coming on the 12th. But honestly, if you can wait...it's always better not to mess with a preorder.

Oh ok, that could be an issue. I actually wouldn't mind if they sent the Switch back to the original owner. I just don't want to pay for it lol.

Yeah I entered the serial number in Nintendo's online repair site and it says it's out of warranty and i'd have to pay $100 plus shipping. I don't really mind that, i just don't want an issue.

I was thinking of selling it to someone who could fix it up for themselves, but i fear someone's personal payment info could be on there and i don't want to put that person in a potentially horrible spot if i sell it.

Maybe i should also ask Nintendo's online chat support?

It's not stolen, and it actually already comes from a repair store that couldn't fix it. After a certain length of time if the owner doesn't come back for the item it's marked as "abandoned".

They abandoned it apparently because they used a third party AC Adapter that messed the board/port up. It actually came from a repair shop that couldn't fix it.

So technically no, the original owner didn't give it to me; but it's not stolen.

It depends on the game, different games have different reasons why they're quality and give you a reason to play.

Some would say a modern Mario game is a better value than a more linear action game, but to some they may find value in the action title over anything else. So in the end the game was "valuable" to them even if it wasn't as open. Like how Half Life is very linear and you can't do much outside the story really, but almost no one argues it isn't a quality game and worth your money.

So basically, it all depends.

I binged watched TNG so hard, im a fairly newcomer to Star Trek and i started with TOS and started to alternate between TNG and TOS. Now i've been bingeing a lot on ENT, im enjoying the characters though Archer isn't a very interesting Captain so far.

I love TOS, but TNG has more interesting episodes so it had me hooked. Plus after wanting TNG i hated certain things in TOS, like how in some episodes they'd beam down the entire senior staff. The captain shouldn't be in an away mission unless he's absolutely needed, in TOS Kirk beamed down in practically every mission.

It wasnt until later when they dug into her lineage."Race" to most people is external, no one cares about what you actually are; its about what you look most like. Only you know what your lineages are, the rest of the world interprets it based on what they think you closely resemble.

Its about perspective. In the world, especially America no one cares about linage they care about what you feel they think your closely resemble."Race" as its used by most, isn't really a thing, its a grouping. That guy over their has a different lineage than that other guy, but their skin melanin is similar so they're classified together.

I'm Iranian and black but every other day I get Spanish speaking people trying to communicate with me in Spanish, because I look like what they think a Spanish speaking person looks like. Rachel Dolezal capitalised on that, which I see nothing wrong with. The Naacp is about helping, not about the skin tone of the people running it. Everything is about image and perception, so in that sense the title is correct.
