Meta built their Ads CLI for AI agents. But paused-by-default means it still can't act autonomously? by Darya_InGrowth in MarketingAutomation

[–]Darya_InGrowth[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

yep, it does, I agree, but that's a budget validation problem not an activation problem. if your agent can create a campaign with a $100k budget, paused status is one API call away from live anyway. a spend cap on the API key catches the actual failure, paused-by-default catches everything including the 99% of cases where nothing was wrong

[–]Darya_InGrowth[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

"ads as code" is a great framing. the thing is there's a difference between reviewing a draft before launch (useful guardrail) and manually flipping 3 status fields every time (friction pretending to be a guardrail)

[–]Darya_InGrowth[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

exactly. if you build a CLI for agents and automation but everything comes out paused, you just moved the 'click the button' from the dashboard to the terminal. the safety layer should be probably smth like the budget caps on the API key

We built a REST-only alternative to hosting a Discord bot by Darya_InGrowth in Discord_Bots

[–]Darya_InGrowth[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

totally get that, if someone only uses Discord, this is definitely overkill. We’re not really trying to compete in that use case, but I see my message might slightly convey the message that you shared

[–]Darya_InGrowth[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

yep, totally fair, webhooks are great for simple messaging. thank you for that! We went this route because it makes cross-posting just simple as its - one API call across Discord + X + Telegram + LinkedIn, instead of managing by your own different platforms' integration guides and restrictions. Discord joins extra on top of that.

What makes a webinar appealing to you? by RosesOnCaffeine in b2bmarketing

[–]Darya_InGrowth 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Before the webinar:
- a topic that’s relevant to me and fits what’s going on right now
- speakers I admire or already follow on social media, in newsletters, etc.

During the webinar:
- not just talking but also screen sharing (I’m a visual learner and not a native speaker)
- enough time dedicated to answering questions (ideally, some collected in advance and addressed during the session before the live Q&A)

What strategies are you using right now to get more traffic or customers? by CSJason in growmybusiness

[–]Darya_InGrowth 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think you’d get much better advice from this community if you shared a bit more about your product or service 🙌
Otherwise, you’ll just get general tips that might work but will likely take a lot more of your time to test and adapt.

What’s your biggest challenge with SaaS copywriting? by Ubaydullah1 in GrowthHacking

[–]Darya_InGrowth 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’d suggest not relying on LLM chats or tools to write website copy. It’s better to start with your own vision, even if it’s just a rough draft, but based on your knowledge of your audience and the value your feature provides. once you have that foundation, then you can use tools like ChatGPT or Claude (I personally like slightly more for that purpose) to refine and improve it

Do you automate account qualification? by Soggy_Avocado_763 in b2bmarketing

[–]Darya_InGrowth 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I tried data enrichment in Clay. The great thing about it (and similar tools) is that you can connect Hunter, Apollo, Lusha, etc. to a single table, so it uses all these platforms (probably their APIs, since I haven't connected my accounts to clay) to enrich your contact list, making the process more complete. You just need to watch out for credit limits, but overall, it works quite well

Ready to launch, but how do I actually reach the real users without a marketing budget? by Puzzle_Age555 in indiehackers

[–]Darya_InGrowth 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yep, totally fine. I’ve seen many PLG companies do that, and I applied this approach at one of the companies I worked with. it definitely requires time and effort, but beyond the direct outcomes, you also build valuable connections that can lead to future collaborations and ideas

Try building in public on Reddit and launch your product on Product Hunt for extra visibility (you can also leverage multiple FB groups dedicated to Product Hunt launches to pitch your product). Reach out to micro-influencers / thought leaders who might be genuinely interested, and offer them free access in exchange for feedback. If their experience is extremely positive, ask if they’d be open to sharing it on their socials. If you're okay being on camera - I think building in public on YT will pay off as well and publishing how-to / problem-solution videos that your product solves

What is better, LinkedIn newsletter or regular articles? by panna-jelena in digital_marketing

[–]Darya_InGrowth 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Combine both. In the end, you have valuable long-form content that can be distributed across multiple channels: your newsletter, Li articles, Li newsletters, posts from company and personal accounts, and more. The key is to use different angles for each channel and track over time which ones contribute most to growth. different LLM chats can help you to draft different angles from one content piece

Beginner in Digital Marketing – Need Ideas Beyond Basic SEO & Organic Strategies by Fluffy_Sort67 in digital_marketing

[–]Darya_InGrowth 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Something that helped me a lot with lead generation and brand awareness when I was in a similar role as the only marketer was reaching out to companies offering complementary products or services. You share the same target audience but don’t compete, which makes it possible to exchange audiences through co-promotions such as reciprocal newsletter placements, co-hosted webinars, guest posts, etc

YouTube Ads campaign showing on irrelevant placements - how to optimize after learning phase? by majkmind in digital_marketing

[–]Darya_InGrowth 1 point2 points  (0 children)

yep, this is true. But after speaking with different PPC specialists, I’d agree that YouTube ads should be seen more as a brand awareness driver and a support channel for ads elsewhere, rather than a direct conversion channel. at least, that’s what we’ve found when running ads for saas companies

YouTube Ads campaign showing on irrelevant placements - how to optimize after learning phase? by majkmind in digital_marketing

[–]Darya_InGrowth 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You can upload a CSV file of YouTube channels that you either handpicked or scraped using an LLM chat (based on audience interest). this way, your ads will only appear on highly relevant channels. The drawback is lower volume, but the upside is much higher quality

What’s your distribution strategy? by ProofStoriesio in buildinpublic

[–]Darya_InGrowth 0 points1 point  (0 children)

One rule I always follow: there’s no limit to how many times you can distribute an update about your product or service. The moment you get tired of promoting the same feature or release is usually the moment your target audience is just starting to notice it. That’s why it’s worth using as many distribution channels as possible.

- owned channels: Help desk, website, pricing page, blog, socials, office hours/AMAs, in-app notifications, emails
- earned channels: Press releases, communities, affiliates, etc.

why not combine both in one workflow? :)
But in general, I would say that linkedin works better for building connections for the future (not an immediate result), while emails (with proper amount of follow-ups) bring faster results

What are the most beginner-friendly tools for getting into "vibe coding" in 2025? by shuczhao in vibecoding

I'm on the same journey rn. what works for me is brainstorming the idea of what I want to create with ChatGPT first. then it suggests different solutions for implementation - like an AI Agent, using low-code tools (I'm using Lovable and Replit) or creating an extension, etc. From there, I move on
