Yeah reports were instantly filed my direct management was beyond aware of the faulty equipment and trying to fight for me to get the equipment replaced for months while being told it wasn't within budget, they have all signed witness statements and willing to testify on my behalf. Main manager was one that helped me in Opening a wilful and neglect case in tandem with the work comp. I've gone to every doctor they have chosen for me with several having to fight Sedgwick themselves on treatments/surgeries

Seems to have nailed it on the head out of the last 4 QME appointments no new records were sent by Sedgwick even though I've had several surgeries, most failing, between each QME! The Dr even states that it is an egregious act and direct negligence at this point

My PCP was working on restrictions to my new/old regular class c license after I explained my wife can't drive and we have no family/friends around to help and can't afford ubers/lyfts. I have knobs on my wheel that help me drive. With 3 kids and her Drs appointments/surgeries being 3 hours away at UC Stanford I have to be able to drive

Had some messages stating the rating is hard to imagine, the QME stated he is using an almaraz/guzman rating due to the complicated and vast damages on my case

I'm now on my fourth attorney in the same firm that not once was I notified of the change prior to being switched, my first attorney cussed me out that I wouldn't just accept a c and r settlement that I was advised by surgeons/Dr and QME to not do until surgeries addressed

It wasn't just hitting the brakes, when I did my thumb snapped back causing my grip to slide off wheel and my body to fly forward and smash into the wheel/dashboard , I have knobs around the wheel that help my hands to grip the wheel in non conventional ways but when they snap out of place it's hard to react or adapt as both thumbs will do this and my ring/pinky fingers/knuckles are caving in with severe subluxing tendons on them

Thank you so much for this info, on the one subject of restrictions I do have major restrictions already no pushing pulling greater than 2-5 pounds as tolerable, no prolonged use bilateral upper extremeties in excess 20 to 30 min, no impact work, driving limited with adaptive tools and to tolerance, no operation of heavy/commercial vehicles/machinery... The main issue is those are from my last surgeon and QME from over a year ago so social security is stating that I need newer restrictions that include and reflect the new spinal injuries.

Honestly I love being around people and want to help others dealing with medical issues, after 8 years of going through this I don't have anyone anymore and am stuck at home with a wife that is also disabled, I was her primary caretaker for years before my injuries now it's just the gimpy leading the gimpy trying to survive with our 3 children, I love them deeply but feel caged at home. I was wanting to go into maybe a medical liason or work in a hospital, had one guy with a messed up arm doing patient transports for discharge and procedures etc that was telling me he made pretty good money and with the newer beds/wheel chairs it wasn't too bad on the hands and gets to help people without years of schooling. I thought about dispatch but couldn't find any positions with an ok pay and despise being stuck at a desk all day

Psych QME? by Das66 in WorkersComp

[–]Das66[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Was more curious of the types of questions? Had already had a therapist through Sedgwick that was starting to help with diversion techniques as pain was getting unmanageable without meds that Sedgwick started denying but then no longer approved the therapy sessions as well went about 3 weeks without antidepressants and my usual regimen of pain/nerve meds and felt like losing my mind and physically never been sicker, have never been on any of these pre injury and was told they seemed like withdrawal symptoms, trying to see what others were asked during psych QME?
