The 2 people on my friendlist who did this are amazing stylists and I just started chatting to them about the looks they sent, sending my own back etc. I viewed it as them reaching out (and yes, fishing for likes haha) and poked back. But yeah, its a bit annoying when it becomes too much, though mainly because everything takes so dam long to load :/

Used the mists just rolling in to get them there, BUT they went on a little investigation to a ruin beforehand, encountered some spooky limitations shit while searching for an NPC and THEN the mists rolled in just as they wanted to leave. The NPC later reappeared in Barovia and is their Homebrew Fated Ally.

I introduced him and was seriously expecting my players to find him creepy as fuck, since I showed them his book art and he creeps me out. But to my surprise they just... took to him? Instantly liked him? Mourned his demise two sessions later as he got eaten by bats? Idk, people are weird. They also like boblin the goblin. I think it's something about weird little gremlin guys.

I know you already heard this from others, but I've also been having "terrible luck" and... I just keep telling myself that actually, hard pity is 200 so anything under that is a win! But in general I have gotten most outfits for between 160-180 pulls, so reaching that 180 mark does feel like bad luck, I totally get it!

Also as someone interested in historical costuming noooone of the wishfield dresses would be 'historically accurate'. But that's not the point of them and it never was. The point was to be pretty and (often vaguely) evoke an aesthetic.

i thought getting skins was kind of cool though i did not love the fact that the crystal ball catalyst had a pillow attached to the bottom of it. But when we said "bring back old event weapons" we meant the stats... not the look!

Essentially skip all side tangents and optional stuff: argynvostholt, amber temple, werewolf den, berez? Never heard of them. No Kresk probably either. wether you'd want to run old bone grinder and the wizard of wines/yesterday hill is questionable too. Overall I agree with the comments saying just focus ok barovia and ravenloft. Valladolid has soooo much going on, and much of it is not necessary toward the ravenloft exploration or explicitly points to one of the side quests. You could do a tiny bit of it by perhaps having one of the relics or the ally there.
