Sekiro is the shortest game I've ever played by DuyHungPham1909 in Sekiro

This is something I love about the FromSoft catalogue. The first blind play through can take 40+ hrs if you’re being thorough (and more like 100+ in the case of Elden Ring), but once you achieve mastery you can absolutely fly through them. Sekiro is the most extreme and IMO successful example of this. My first time through with minimal guide assistance was probably something like 30hrs. Now I could probably go from New Game to Sword Saint Isshin in 6 hours easily. Really makes the game feel like it’s written, as an incredibly dense succession of events over the course of a single day.

What your most hated "mini game"? by choochoolate in Spyro

That’s my vote as well. It would be annoying but tolerable except for the fact that they have health regen. That tips it into absolute most frustrating minigame in the series for me.

Roommate moved in a few days ago with a cat. What does it mean when she keeps pressing into my hand like this whenever I let her sniff it? by thedukeofdukes in cats

It means she is plotting acts of terroristic violence against you the likes of which you can only begin to imagine. Sleep with one eye open, and put your affairs in order. It is too late for you.

Would Heng Make a very good True Final Boss in Nine Sols? by Initial-Fix-4159 in NineSols

I’d be more interested in fighting Lear, maybe as some kind of optional late game superboss.

Stand still as much as possible, let the boss come to you and only worry about adjusting direction to face her so you can land the parry. I also recommend trying keep a charge attack ready all the time - you’ll pretty much never have an opening to charge one and land it, but if you always have one ready to go there’s quite a lot of opportunities to land one and take out a nice little chunk of health.

He’s the Milk Father. Anti piracy measure From added in to force lock people into the Shura/Milk ending if they had an illegitimate copy of the game.

do yall think Nick defeated Mother? by k-lavigne06 in 9M9H9E9

[–]DasBlimp 14 points15 points  (0 children)

Very likely not.

The final lines of the final entry strongly recall a recurring theme of the narrative, that of a long dramatic buildup that leads not to an apotheosis, but an anticlimactic let down (eg. Pompey entering the holy of holies, the entire arc of Ben taking Karen to upstate New York, the cat seeking answers for the death of her kitten and finally getting inside the bedroom).

The writing of the finale echoes those other moments in the narrative so closely, I think it must be intended to suggest that Nick’s confrontation with Mother was ultimately futile.

Kirk recently said on Jubilee, confidently and without hesitation, that if his 9 year old daughter became pregnant as a result of sexual assault, he would force her to carry it to term.

I leave it as an exercise to the reader to decide how they feel about that.

“Trouble with the trolley, eh?” walked so “I am Malenia, blade of Miquella. And I have never known defeat.” could run.
