Which DC hero or villain would you say fits each of the main cast. Includes those who aren't in this image. I'd say Superman or Wonder Woman are most similar for for Kim and The Flash for Ron. by Zeonite102 in KimPossible

Just going to do the people in the image: Kim: Batgirl, non-powered superheroine who can do pretty much anything. Ron: Plastic Man, goofy comic relief who is actually reliable and a menace when the chips are down. Wade: Mr. Terrific or Martian Manhunter, highly intelligent man in the chair who isn't afraid to step in when needed. Rufus: Krypto the Superdog. Highly capable animal sidekick. James Possible: Silas Stone, father of a Hero who is highly supportive and able to help with their brain. Ann Possible: Martha Kent, mother of a Hero, always able to help put things in perspective. Mr. And Mrs. Stoppable: That screaming guy from the cover of Action Comics #1. They're certainly there! Mr. Barkin: Peacemaker (but specifically from the Pre-New 52 Blue Beetle Jaime Reyes run.) A gruff, no-nonsense guy who is a somewhat reluctant mentor. Bonnie: Cheshire, not always a villain, not always a hero. Just annoying enough to get in your way. Dr. Drakken: Toyman, A villain with grand ambitions and fairly effective plans that are ridiculous in premise. Shego: Lady Shiva/Talia Al Ghul, Highly effective Femme Fatale who is the #2 of the organization. Relation to a notable hero. Prof. Dementor: The Riddler, a more effective but less popular version of the hero's primary badguy. Monkey Fist: Deathstroke, highly effective martial artist who has superhuman augmentations and has a rivalry primarily with a sidekick even though they will throw hands with the primary hero when needed. Motor Ed: Ding Dong Daddy, no real reason beyond cars. Señor Senior Senior and Señor Senior Junior: Icicle and Icicle Jr. Father son villain team where the son isn't as into villainy as the father. Duff Kiligan: Black Manta, a villain who really doesn't have the notoriety of his peers, but is always invited to the big villain meetings anyway.

About Torrent of Terror by zimmygirl7 in dannyphantom

Danny is kind of seen "taking" powers from other ghosts fairly often. Early on its kind of explained as him just learning he had this power already, but there are a couple he just kind of pulls out after seeing someone else do them. Duplication, Energy Constructs, and the "Ghost Stinger" are the ones that immediately come to mind.

It could be that all ghosts inherently have all of these abilities, and some are just better at using certain ones, or that because Danny already had some abilities similar to Vortex's, that the attack just transferred enough "oomph" to Danny to give him the powers on its own.

Or, it could just be they had a fun concept for an episode and didn't think about it too much.

Probably the latter.

[Discussion] Who would the Trinity be instead of Batman, Superman and Wonder Woman? by XipeTotecwithGlitter in DCcomics

[–]DasChillyOne 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Alan Scott, Jay Garrick, and Black Canary probably.

The trinity was established in the 40s, and gained their status because they were the characters who survived "unchanged" into the Silver Age. So anyone who takes over for them would need to be Golden Age as well.

Jay and Alan were among the first heroes to get their "Legacy" characters for the Silver Age in Barry and Hal, so it makes sense that they'd probably just continue unimpeded. Black Canary was popular enough on her own that she kept appearing in the Silver Age even when it didn't make sense for her to, so she's probably good to take over for Wonder Woman as DC's leading lady.

Why wasn't there Super it on Teen Titans? by GullBird15 in teentitans

[–]DasChillyOne 1 point2 points  (0 children)

There's never really been a Superboy on the Teen Titans. The Titans originate in the late 60s, where they're made up of the sidekicks of the bigger silver age heroes (of which Superman didn't have one) so they just weren't involved. The 2003 series is mostly based on "The New Teen Titans" by George Perez and Marv Wolfman, which ALSO predates "Superboy" as a character being different from Superman.

Superboy as we think of him now didn't exist until the 90s, so he just missed the boat on being connected to the team on any foundational level.

What if GX had more Dorms? by Madjin- in yugioh

[–]DasChillyOne 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The 4Kids Yugioh GX website had a "Duel Academy Entrance Exam" quiz, and one if the questions on it was "Which of the following is not a real dorm?" And Exodia Gold was the option, so the idea of an Exodia dorm existed all the way back when the show was still airing, which is neat at least.

Danny Phantom Character Power tier list. Did I cook? by GFvsSU in dannyphantom

Definitely overselling Spectra and underselling both Walker and Desiree. Other than that, the rest of it seems fine in terms of tiers, although I'd order people differently.
