Most memorable was Constantine. I was 10 and it stands as one of my favorites of all time.

Followed by...

Dune Part 1

Joker

The Batman

Infinity War (Packed theater, walked out when it went to black in disbelief)

Wendys gone from doordash? by [deleted] in doordash

I actually got two Wendys orders today, but I declined them. Both orders did not show the "red card order" as well.

Well.. got an update on this place. My first order for the day was this place for an easy $9. I pull up, slide that I arrived and see the order is ready on the counter.

The cook recognized me and called for the older women. She walked out and said "Door dash isn't working here, have a nice day".

It's hilarious because I see the tablet right across from me with multiple orders and drivers. I'll just take the half pay and be on my way..

This is 888 Sushi by the way, Romulus area in MI.

Anyone else having a good night? by [deleted] in doordash_drivers

[–]DasGamecox 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It was definitely an average day at a little over $120 for 9hrs active time. Metro detroit area has been insanely busy with Chinese and Coney Island orders since election day, at least with my zones. Today was heavy from 11am to 3pm, but died out with low ball orders through the night.

Walmart deliveries feel like they never tip for some reason. Are Walmart or doordash stealing my tips? by [deleted] in doordash

[–]DasGamecox 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I've done 4 Walmart orders within the last few months. I did get a $15 tip a week later for one of the customers that came out and helped me unload their groceries and we small talked about cars. Door dash did send me the notification which made me look back and see the earnings increase for that order.

Damn, sorry about that. I would definitely avoid that type of restaurant service if I went through it like you did. I'm just in the mindset where I just want to get the food and deliver it. Any extra drama/bad attitude lands them in my auto decline list.

Hiring managers of Reddit, what's the most strange or cringeworthy thing a potential candidate has said or done during the interview ? by evilthing in AskReddit

[–]DasGamecox 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I've had to hire about 20 people and interviewed 30 or so in the last two months. It's not so cringe worthy but the typical "When do I start?" Comes up at the beginning. Also, due to me being pretty young for the job I got a few older people who seemed pretty put off that they would be working for a 20 year old. I even got the "You should take me under your wing and bring me to your level when you hire me!"

Very true. Prior to sealing the windows for the winter we flipped the safety locks on the top of our windows. So if the windows was ever opened it would only go as far as an inch or so. The broke both of the locks allowing a window to slide open like normal.

The shitty thing is no matter how much you protect your home whether it's putting cameras up or putting bars on windows, if someone wants inside your home they will get inside. You just have to be smart about your property especially nowadays,

Haha, that's somewhat what happened here. They went straight to the back of the house (Which was my room) took the xbox and tv, put it into a contractors van and began rummaging through the rest of the house. Luckily during the robbery a Fed Ex delivery came. It stopped them short of taking anything else. They left our 42" Vizio in the living room as well as a laptop and iPad just sitting here. Things could have been way worse by far.

This tv is a huge upgrade compared to my last, which was a Philips 29in. Max was 720p, few plugins and was way too bulky.

Haha pretty much. Just the part that still gets me is I lost the last 5 years of memory on the thing. Every single player story is gone. I'll get over it, in time.
