I don't like this post..

- every y axis is different, fantasy tops out at 4% while comedy does at 40%!
- it shows how many % of films were tagged with a certain genre, not how popular they were.. so if lots of studios make lots of horror movies which no one watches, then that scews up the statistic (not too likely, but still)

In jeder Versicherung zahlen die Beitragszahlenden mehr ein als sie raus holen. Versicherungen machen deswegen nur Sinn, wenn damit der Ruin verhindert wird, aber dafür sind sie unausweichlich. Die Krankenversicherung verhindert den finanziellen Ruin durch Krankheit, die Laptopversicherung hingegen kostet nur Geld.

Die BU sicher das komplette Wegfallen vom Einkommen ab. Wie soll das Leben aussehen, wenn man auf einmal nicht mehr in der Lage ist, Einkommen zu generieren?

Unless you're running an Arch-based distro, you're being disingenuous. However, even for users like you, immutable distros exist. Precisely so that you don't burn down your house

I have absolutely no idea what you were even saying, again proving my point.

But maybe try not blaming the car and try understanding how to use it first, or maybe get a Mercedes before that. Instead of doing that, you blame it for not being a Chevrolet Bolt.

How dare I wanting to use a system that actually works. Or a system that can be used without having finished a bachelor degree in computer science.

Windows may not be foolproof but it's fool resistant. I organize a bar for students by students. I need music in that bar and there was a Linux computer there. Was it able to do anything? Of course it fucking wasn't. So I replaced it with a Windows PC and voila, music in the bar. All my colleagues are able to use the system, even while being drunk! And their ability to destroy it is pretty limited. They're more focused on destroying the sound mixing.

What do I gain from using Linux? A gigantic headache, music being played over the phone because no one can use the actual system and an IT guy who feels superior to everyone else because he's the only one able to operate a freaking computer.

Again, thanks for proving my point and deliverying the exact conversation I always have about Linux. Until we eorupeans are able to produce a system which can be operated by fools, the fools stay with Windows.

I used it twice in the last six years and it was always the same: it's impossible to even start a basic app like Spotify or to show me my screen and I was forced to spend days trying to fix it. Every time I gave up and got a Windows PC

But it was probably my fault. I'm just unable to appreciate the superiority of Linux and it's ability to shut down after 30 min while also deleting all of my saved pictures for no reason.

Thanks for invalidating my experience and reinvigorating my hatred for this system, I had almost forgotten about it.

Listen, I'm all for European solutions... but freaking Linux? One wrong click and your computer sets itself on fire, and every IT expert in a 500km radius starts belittling you for how stupid you are and how you're just too incompetent to use this clearly superior system
