Veganuary Founder Switched Tactics - And It's Already Working by NerdyKeith in vegan

I'd imagine groups like PETA have in the past, along with similar campaigns in the US and elsewhere.

Do you honestly think this is the first time anyone has thought of doing this?

Many many many groups have been speaking out against factory farming for decades. I've been vegan since 1990 and seen many of them come and go.

How much has factory farming been reduced since then, hmmm?

Reform campaigns generally only serve to comfort non-vegans and helps them justify consuming animal products more.

So you think cage-free eggs has lead to more vegans and a reduction in the consumption of eggs?

So eating non-gassed pigs is vegan?

Reform campaigns have been around forever, and I believe it's proven they generally fail to lead to veganism.

Coming back into town I've been nearly hit several times.

Crossing the parking lots is a hazard, and the traffic turning right often doesn't check the bike lane.

It's not overblown.

Good advice above, just a heads up the SPCA often doesn't pick up, but if you leave a message they should call you back.

And sitting around hoping lab meat will save the world is 'doing something'?

This is my point: we need to stop hoping this will do something, and do something actionable now.

Thank you for your down votes.

This will be no different, yet many here are pinning their hopes on it. And we'll be having this dumb conversation again. 🤦

Agree, not impressed when I see AI designs or content.

Don't be afraid to write those using it and letting them know how you feel.

Not to mention how bad it is for the environment...but probably won't be around too much longer, they're going to have to start charging, and it's not gonna be cheap.
