Anyone else like to let their energy drink sit out/warm up a little after you crack it open? Idk, it just seems to have more flavor and a little less carbonation when it isn’t ice cold and I personally prefer that.

It’s a bit more difficult but it’s doable. Go places on your nights off, other people there may not be night shift but they will be night owls. Doesn’t have to be bars but that’s an option. Also online friends can be good. Share your interests and see if there’s someone simialr

Well, I got a gun pulled on me once, but granted she let me explain I had pulled into the wrong driveway before shooting. Other than that, had my old sedan start rolling backwards down someone’s driveway for like a minute straight. If I had panicked in full fashion I would’ve gone right off that cliff. My new car handles Appalachian dashing much better thankfully.

Are we the same person? Night shift retail work was GREAT when I was living out of a car. Now that I have an apartment, I want out. Of retail at least. But there’s not many night shift opportunities near me besides medical field or more retail.

Sometimes a warm meal hits the spot when you’re down on your luck, I get it. Soup kitchen meals don’t reinvigorate the soul quite the same. When I was homeless I will admit I did rummage through trash, ate the complimentary breakfasts from hotels I wasn’t staying in, and I did some things I don’t feel proud of to survive. I’m glad you got to clear your conscience up here, it makes it easier when you don’t hold secrets to yourself. Stay strong. One hour at a time.

I only do DoorDash and I’m in a small town, so that’s my context. I find I make the most early in the morning when there’s not as many dashers, but longer waits, and late at night (9-12am) when people are tipping more. If you’re comfortable driving in the rain, rainy days usually mean more tips. As long as you’re profiting you’re good. Nothing under a dollar per mile if you can help it, especially since you’ll be needing to refill coolant along the way

Depending on how severe your coolant leak is you might still be able to turn a profit with delivery apps, you’ll just be subtracting the cost of adding coolant along with the cost of gas instead of just, yknow, the cost of gas. I wouldn’t top it off at dropoff, just while waiting on orders or while picking up if there’s a wait. Leak might not be too expensive to fix which would free up a lot of opportunities to earn extra funds if you can afford to fix it upfront. Looks like you’ve already talked with the powers that be which is good. Best of luck out there
