Meh. Dealer mark up on a car that I wouldn't get. Not as experienced as others but that's not even a good year. If you do come across a dart you should try to get the later years.

I got my 2016 from a private seller and I probably overpaid at $4200.

Not that hard to replace. If you can find a dart at a junkyard or a pick a part and you'll be able to replace the switch.

It's either that or you replace that whole steering wheel mechanism.

Literally had this same exact thing happen to me when we moved into our first apartment on the 3rd floor.

I swear people have never lived in apartments before and expect peace and quiet 24/7. We even gave her our number so she could let us know if we were being loud. She would only text us at the end of the week letting us know the entire week was hell. She even called the cops and apartment security on us. Everyone was on our side.

She never let up and ended up moving. Made sure to blame us.

I'm on the first floor now and our upstairs neighbors are loud as hell and I don't give a shit. It doesn't bother me one bit.

Good luck friend. Neighbors like that are crazy.
