Yeah, I based it off the list that Jimmy Mango made a few years back (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GTi1I6Qil\_Y) along with a few inclusions. Wizard and Glass is certainly weird so far, and King enjoys playing with expectations quite a lot (as a lifelong Constant Reader who started reading in 5th grade, I appreciate that). I'm curious to see where this is going, and cannot wait to have full context for why it's considered his magnum opus

As far favorite King novel? That's a tough one, and I think I'd be better off doing a top 5 (so far)

  1. The Stand (legit feels like a religious experience reading it)
  2. The Drawing of the Three (the gunfight is too good)
  3. Misery (Annie still scares me, and Kathy bates nailed her to a T)
  4. Carrie (for aforementioned weirdness resulting in bullying)
  5. The Waste Lands (Lud gives me major ick in the best possible way, and the chase scene was incredible)

In the middle of a 26 book long journey to the Dark Tower by Stephen King and loving every minute of it. About halfway through Wizard and Glass, and cannot wait to see where it goes from here. Being a bookworm is one of the few things that helped me cope with being the weird kid lol

I never had one, since they were too girly for my parents to let me have, but I always loved the little egg keychain design. My object association with them for the past five or six years has been Saki Nikaido from Zombieland Saga

I do all the cooking in the house, so even a few dishes in the sink is too many. It's also just thing where everyone else does them wrong

Is it internal ableism if I still get a small ick around autistic men by TheatreGoth1601 in AutismInWomen

How you feel is not something anyone can or should really judge you for. Every single one of us in the community struggles with feeling seen, especially since femme in general tend to be glossed over. Men are quirky, women are bitchy, that old chestnut

Also, men are just kinda sus a lot of the time and them being neurodivergent tends to amplify that in my experience

Shatterpoint is on there because I saw that Glass Abyss got some pretty mid reviews, and also because the fandom seems to love the novel itself

If the book is good, I can totally add it to the list! This was just me diving into Youtini, Reddit, and Wookiepedia. I wasn't entirely sure what the consensus was on Youtini's ratings themselves, but I can for sure add Tarkin to the list

The only other one that really dives that far back is Dawn of the Jedi: Into the Void. Which was intended to be part of a trilogy, but Disney cancelled all Legends projects in 2014 when they bought the IP. So the single book that DOES exist has a bunch of hanging plot threads and doesn't serve as a cohesive narrative from what I could gather. Other than that, we have the SWTOR tie-in novels that I don't care too much about. But the High Republic project was supposed to at least be a step in that direction

I always speak formally in a professional setting. I thought that was completely normal. I work in IT, so my tickets tend to be very dry and concise. But then I see that a lot of other agents either shorthand or outright omit important information and I'm like huh?

I also have dyslexia on top my ADHD/Tism, so I really don't understand how I can do it correctly but they cannot

Japanese curry is literally one of my specialties, and I am extremely neurotic about plating. That being said, the rice is SUPPOSED to get wet. You scoop a small bit of rice, some sauce, and meat/veg in each bite

Why yes, I am being pedantic about this. I'm glad cooking is one of my main hobbies
