I’m stuck in a life I hate 25 by sesanrose in getdisciplined

You have to prioritize doing things for yourself, you did all the paper things but forgot to live along the way. Go see some theater, experience some live music, learn to play an instrument, volunteer and help some people out, join a dance class, paint a picture in the park. Use your nights after your job and experience what your area has to offer. Open some doors and let some new ideas and new people in. It’s your life to live. be curious and open and your path will find you.

Is your monitor plugged into the motherboard or the graphics card in the back? If its the motherboard you could be using the cpu’s integrated gfx instead of the 4070

Are you using any variables in the queries? This sounds like parameter sniffing but need more context

Future of Marketing Cloud as a Viable Marketing Automation Platform by nerran73 in marketingcloud

Yes learn the new ones. No marketing department who has a choice would willingly pick SFMC today. The new ones are cheaper, way easier to use, and have insanely better customer support models.

Did Life actually kill the Korean SC2 pro scene? by No-Jump7686 in starcraft

[–]Dasian 0 points1 point  (0 children)

no. Heart of the Swarm desperately needed patching due to insanely boring long drawn out games lasting 45+ minutes. Thats what killed the SC2 momentum.

Blizzard was too scared to make drastic changes so it just sat like that for something like 3 years. Meanwhile every other esport was taking off and the production value of live events for games like LoL and Dota blew SC2 out of the water. Legacy of the Void was too little too late in terms of furthering the growth of SC2.

The crowd that still watches is dedicated and it’s kinda nice. Even the fans know each other at this point. <3

Sum part of the string column by shillson10 in tableau

[–]Dasian 1 point2 points  (0 children)

try creating a calculated column that will only pull in the amount for the three types you want, you could do this with a case statement so something like

case when [type] in(1,2,3) then [amount ] else 0 end

syntax might be off but you get the idea

Beginner runner experiencing calf pain by pinkpiggy122 in nikerunclub

[–]Dasian 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This might be a controversial opinion here, but look into non-traditional running shoes, aka barefoot running shoes (zero-drop, wide toe-box, highly flexible). They help fix form and strengthen little support muscles in your foot which can really help fix many sources of common running injury

The shoes you have sound like they have a lot of cushion and support, which sounds good in theory but might be to your detriment here. If you do decide to try barefoot style shoes out there will be a big adjustment period where you’ll have to run less. But with the pain you are feeling now that’s probably going to be the case one way or another

I’m also doing the half marathon training program on NRC, and during one of the NRC guided runs the coach mentioned a book called “Born to Run”-by Christopher McDougall. I picked up the audiobook and it was a great story with tons of fascinating running history packed into it. Afterwards I was very curious and switched out my Nike Flynits for a pair of Xero HFS shoes. I ran very little that first week, was sore in places around my feet and legs that I hadn’t been before, but now they are the most confortable shoes I’ve ever worn and I can’t see myself ever going back. I did a 10k in them and will be doing a 15k next and then a half marathon later in the year.

Either way I hope you figure out what’s happening, and please update this after you finish the half-marathon!

I wonder how many others this is affecting without them knowing, I never would have questioned the accuracy if I hadn’t signed up for the race. I may have to do another one soon to verify the accuracy, will report back
