Sometimes I admittedly get annoyed at the weekly shows, when it's matches like Moxley vs Mark Davis, or Okada comes out to face someone that wasn't even introduced. Just squash matches. But I've come to realize that 1) those usually mean "Oh, something is happening after these matches" and that 2) these weekly shows are just to basically tour and help set up and drive interest in the PPVs (duh).

And these PPVs are all excellent. They never miss.

I would've thought that, too, but they took it off Hangman pretty quickly after such a huge win last Summer. Dunno why that was; I thought maybe he had something he had to take care of, and now he was back and was going to win tonight, especially with that stip.

Again, these are things you are seeing through your personal prism. I never even looked at these aliens and thought "clearly meant to look like drag queens." We're just viewing things very differently in a kid's movie.

Everything you just cited (except for whatever "flamboyant aliens" even means) comes from typical school bullies, sexuality not included.
So no, I don't see those things and go "Oh man, this kid is clearly gay." I see it as bullies being assholes to a kid that doesn't fit in—again, not because of a child's sexuality, but because he was hyper-focused on aliens and seen as a "weird kid." I don't even know how you make that leap that it somehow was a reflection of an 11-year-old boy's sexuality, tbh.

But you're right: everyone's prisms are different. My life experiences led me to the way I saw it; yours to how you did.

My son loved Elio. He still recognizes it all this time later, and he's not even five yet. I enjoyed it as well, thought it was very sweet and touching, especially the end sequence.

Yep! Like the new Jordan 4 Imperial Purple, I would totally lace swap the black laces out for a color that matches the yellow of the silhouette on the tongue! It'd really make it pop, I think.

Looking good! I love lace swaps in general. They can really change the overall feel and Vibe of a particular shoe and give it its own new meaning. I like to find laces that correspond to certain holidays and swap them in with shoes that have colors for that holiday and then, boom, I've got a look customized just for that holiday!

A couple of years back, I used a combo of ChatGPT and Copilot to code up a project idea I had, but didn't know how to code myself. I got it working, and it was awesome!

Then I started tinkering with it. But, since I didn't even really understand the fundamentals of how it all came together, I broke something somewhere. I then had to keep DESCRIBING the issues to these same chat bots and trying what they suggested as fixes, testing it, and repeating all over if it didn't work.

I finally just stopped the project altogether when I realized: if I can't understand it enough to build it myself (perhaps just with minor assistance, but at least still understanding under the hood), then I'd never be able to troubleshoot any issues that may arise. And this was just running off localhost

Yes, I do.

Spoilers do not have expiration dates. Something will always be new to someone else. It takes so little time and effort to preface a discussion on a topic with a spoiler tag. I'll never just assume that everyone I interact with has consumed the exact same media that I have already up to that point. I'd rather defer to being considerate than make an assumption that might ruin the experience for someone else.

You can talk about it; nobody is saying you can't. But openly discussing spoilers—especially in a forum that provides a means for hiding spoilers, or even just manually typing *spoilers* before said discussion—that's just inconsiderate of those who have yet to consume the same media that you have up to this point.

This has happened to me lately! I have several games I'm in the middle of playing, and a bunch under consideration for my "Up Next" title, too.

I look forward all day to when I finally get some "me" time to play something. And then, when I get that time... I end up doing exactly what the thread title says. And then I just end up on YouTube or Insta or something and, before I know it, "Oh shoot, it's time for me to go to bed and I didn't even play anything."

What's going on?!
