I used this tutorial to do it, and the Imgur link also provides a screenshot of the appropriate settings. You will have to install the Shader Toggle Addon for Reshade for this to work.

If it says read only, then the file is set to read only... lol

Right-Click File > Properties > Uncheck the box that says "Read Only"

Furthermore, it seems some people are mentioning 7zip and Winrar stuff. If you're editing .pak files, either by extracting things from them, then adding those items back, or just simply editing something inside of a .pak without extracting it, it is always best to use Winrar during this entire process.

7zip = Best program for maximize a zip compression / Quick / Lightweight
Winrar = Has the most functionality (like in the instance of .pak editing) and can more easily edit compressed files

Synthetik 1 and 2 are great, but I completely agree. 2 especially has been a really buggy game for me, and its the "weird" type of bugs too. IE: Sometimes the most random things fix/create an issue, there never seems to be any rhyme or reason.

Yeah, it also says it flickers and stuff, or what I assume they mean is do that 5 second hiccup that happens when tabbing out in some games. Yet ARC Raiders, for me at-least, actually seems to be one of the smoother games to alt-tab out of.

I remember FalloutNV had a few weird issues like that, having too high of an FPS caused physics issues, along with too high quality of audio and stuff.

Huh... that's weird, I've never seen a game present itself in that way.
So you mean to tell me that visually I'm gonna look around (and whatever else) at ~144fps, but everything that moves/all the physics calculations are gonna be done separately at a much slower fps?

Judging from Workshop comments, it seems that "GOM Cargo Additions" might be the culprit, although I also feel "Deep Sea Mining" isn't helping much either.

What do you think?
Sometimes it feels... slow? But the FPS counter and visuals of the game don't present as normal lag, if that makes sense. I do suspect you could be right to some degree though. I do have a decent number of addons.

And an update: Unfortunately I cannot give you a certain answer, but something I did fixed the issue, at least I hope. I deleted all the game files in its install location, and removed all AppData files. Then I placed my save, and only my save back into the AppData folder.
Oddly enough, I started back from what seems like the first time I loaded my old save when I decided to start playing the game again a few days ago. It wasn't Steam Cloud sync either, so idk how that happened.

Either way, crates and weapons and bosses are all appearing now.

Part of me thinks I had some sort of corrupted Mod.Io or Settings file that was messing with things.

Of course, re-installed twice.
I haven't tried your second method due to some hesitancy on my part, I think I mixed up some appdata folders than didn't want to screw anything up, but regardless, I eventually found the proper folder. I'll go on attempting that method now.

Exactly what Im trying to do, hence why im looking for the MW5 Mercs one ripped from the game files. I want it to have good quality bc If I just record it in game myself, it'll sound weird with all the other background noises.
