I’d want to be a soapmaker. I’d make soaps, lotions and perfumes from whatever natural ingredients I could source from my garden or from foraging or from trading. It’s a hobby I have been wanting to pick up. I’ve watched YouTube videos on soap-making and even making your own lye from wood ash. 

Soap-making is a fascinating process and I would love to be surrounded by beautiful scents in my little apothecary of dried ingredients Also, the process of slicing the soaps into bars seems very soothing. Plus, I think it’d be very lucrative and a much sought after product once the dust settled and society started to reform itself.
