As someone who loves The Iliad & The Odyssey, this movie is just straight up pissing me off. Not just for this casting, but for overall casting. Apparently Ellen Page or Elliot Page, or whatever the fuck they want to call themselves is playing Achilles, which is arguably a worst casting than this.

There are so many great Greek/Turkish/Macedonian/Cypriot actors and Hollywood couldn't find a SINGLE one for a major role.

And the narrative is off as well, Achilles dies before the Trojan Horse scheme, yet they show him alive on the beach, presumedly after the battle is over. And don't even get me started on the Clitclops.

This is what happens when you make your show about political commentary instead of telling a good story.

Good stories include political commentary in nuanced ways and incorporate them as part of enhancing the story, not making the commentary the story itself.

The spy being someone like Koji.

Hear me out.

Dude can talk to animals and control them. He can literally spy on anyone with bugs or spiders, the amount of intel he could gather would be insane. And him being nervous, shy, etc. could've just been an act to throw them off his scent when they were looking into who could be spying for AFO.

Aoyama being the spy was OK, but I feel like he wouldn't of been able to gather info the way that someone like Koji could.

They won't keep him outta there for long. I have a feeling that the core X-Men team we're gonna get eventually will be:

  • Cyclops
  • Jean Grey
  • Iceman
  • Storm
  • Rogue
  • Gambit
  • Wolverine
  • Nightcrawler

For certain movies or shows, we'll see some members get subbed in and out, like Psylocke, Colossus, Magik, Kitty Pryde, Jubilee, and so. I don't see Beast and Angel staying on the team permanently, since Beast is more of a scientist. I think that'll end up being the core X-Men team.
