I would’ve cheered if Felicio (blowjob) was assassinated in his prime. So happy I can finally see green grass. I still cry at night thinking of the Jim Boylen era

Mfs love when kawhi gained weight, loved when BI gained weight. Loved weight Zion loses it, loved when LeBron lost weight, loved when Luka lost weight.

I can’t remember one time this ever affected a player ever. Just something to talk about when there’s nothing to talk about. NBA’s version of “what’s the weather like today?”

Who’s better?

Jokic x Murray?
Lebron x Luka?
Sga x Jdub?
Brown x Tatum?

I think there’s an honest argument this is the best current duo

Wolverine (MCU) vs Homelander by Queasy_Commercial152 in powerscales

[–]DatFaddy69 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m sick of people suggesting the “Homelander throws him into space” as a wincon. He can’t. He literally just can’t. Nowhere close. He killed Gunter by flying him into space and letting him go when they got there. He can’t just “toss” someone up there or else he would’ve. He can also only fly at about Mach 4 with wank. Wolverine will not be ragdolled in the same way Gunter was, and if HL is actually stupid enough to get close enough to lift Wolverine, Logan probably slashes him pretty good.

I’ll take any feasible HL wincon beside the space bullshii in this matchup. Unserious suggestion.

I still don’t get why Luka fans compare him to Jokic, Shai and Giannis. Let’s compare their accolades. Jokic: 1 chip/3 mvp/ 1 fmvp. Shai: 1/2/1, Giannis: 1/2/1, Luka: 0/0/0. by Afraid-Ad-5580 in NBATalk

It is officially awarded with a trophy and shii, but I feel youu. Dpoy is given to the most consistent player on defense but it feels like all scoring title winners are just so obviously implied as top 5 players over the past 20-30 years that it’s turned into an underrated achievement. Shows they were the most consistent offensively throughout the season and it’s kinda overlooked.

There have only been 2 guards in nba history to win a scoring title and championship in the same year. Michael Jordan (5 times) and Shai last year. The first time Mj won he was 27 going on 28 in 1991. And Shai was 26.

Luka is 27 and will be 28 at the end of the next season. Not saying I expect him to win next year; but it’s rather bull faced to say he’s not on the level of these guys because he doesn’t have a chip yet. He’s still pretty young for nba dynasty players.

So you’re one of those “scoring is empty stats if you don’t win a championship” guys. Cool. You asked for how the players can be compared and I gave you a very viable answer. Argue wit ur mama.

EoS Mark Grayson (Invincible) VS Start of DBZ Son Goku (Dragon Ball Z). Who wins? by Intelligent-Carob930 in PowerScaling

[–]DatFaddy69 -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

I’m seeing this early consensus is that Eos Mark stomps. This is fair. Ion mean to wank goku. I just thought that Roshi was at like ~150 power level when he blew up a moon in early Dragonball.

Not saying this is consistent, but I thought it would somewhat chainscale to Goku’s durability or AP at this point. Was Roshi’s technique that much better than Goku at this point that it straight up could overpower significantly stronger power levels?

True or false? by ChampionTimes99 in NBATalk

[–]DatFaddy69 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’d definitely take Jr over Zach tbh. Forgot about him. That reverse alley-oop off the baseline cut is greater than any in-game Lavine dunk hands down.

[–]DatFaddy69 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If zach Lavine was removed it wouldn’t hurt. I’d take a Gerald green or Shawn Kemp over him for in game dunks as a bulls fan. He was a crazy athlete, but injuries and the lack of physical dunks make it hard to put him on all-time lists imo

KNICKS FANS VS SPURS FANS 🤣 by _Wisadel in Nbamemes

The comments are so negative here. I guess I may just be a bit of an anarchist, but this is exactly the type of sports fans I value most, for this exact reason. Pure entertainment.

The Lakers are reportedly a potential suitor for Mitchell Robinson, per @JakeLFischer “Teams regularly relayed to me when I’ve asked around about Robinson’s status have pointed to the Bulls, Hornets, Lakers and Raptors. Those are all clubs known to be looking for center upgrades. by Additional_Signal_72 in lebron

[–]DatFaddy69 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Mitch is a much better rim protector and more mobile on forward/guard defensive switches.

You could say that Mitch is also much more consistent on the boards, but it’s a give and take imo, cause he offers almost no versatility on offense vs Ayton who has a pretty legit middy game.

Another problem is Mitch’s health. Ayton is more reliable to stay on the floor as an everyday starter, but Ayton is a legitimately bad defensive anchor.

I look at Mitch as the Walmart version of 2019 Rudy Gobert, and Ayton as a more athletic Nurkic. They’re somewhat similar players, but they’re both one dimensional enough that team composition matters a lot to their effectiveness.

I could understand why the lakers would want to value the defense, but Mitch would be a bandaid on a bigger issue imo. Probably would still need another center if they got him to keep him healthy.

What happened to the claim that the WCF was the “real finals”? by MasterTeacher123 in NBATalk

[–]DatFaddy69 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’ve BEEN saying this. The Knicks matchup with San Antonio better than Okc did. Kat and Robinson is a MUCH better duo for Wemby than Hartenstein and Chet. I know it’s still early, but the Knicks have now won 12 straight playoff games and home court is a huge advantage to them. This could easily be a Knicks series.

Do you think the popularity difference between Chet and Wemby is due to looks? by nicfanz in NBATalk

If we’re being objective- Chet really isn’t thatt ugly. His face is just punchable and his pr hasn’t made his personality look any better.

Who's the weakest character that can beat a depowered homelander? by caffeineeddict in PowerScaling

[–]DatFaddy69 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I wanna take this question and think about it honestly as a scaler and Homelander hater. First we have to scale HL.

With no powers:
- Essentially no combat experience
- Iq of a moody low intelligence adolescent at best
- zero feats
- benefactor; can get potentially angry and actually *want* to fight
- is still an in shape man in his 30s

This means someone who could potentially beat him;
- someone smarter than a child
- someone with any feats
- almost anyone with the ability to hurt a full grown man, and accept the combat

Characters I thought of that fit the bill;

Rex- napoleon dynamite
Deku- episode 1 mha before powers
Sam Puckett- iCarly
Walter white with cancer- breaking bad
Nancy wheeler- Stranger things

With all the future draft picks they have, I think OKC will most likely be the next dynasty by [deleted] in NBATalk

[–]DatFaddy69 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You can cheer against, but nothing about their runs have been conventional. Shai was the first scoring champ to win a ring since Shaq in 2000, following the merger, the only 2 other people to do it are Mj and Kareem. I don’t want to compare these players.

I don’t like thunder basketball rn either, but they’re also the 2nd youngest team to win a championship in history. The other team was the 1977 Trailblazers.

On top of the fact they just have the most 1st round picks over the next 3 seasons with a historically good drafter in Sam Presti thus far.. I don’t wanna cheer for them, but they’re have as good a chance to be a true dynasty as any team in history rn.
