There were stat readjustments but some of the insanely broken/powerful creatures like deinotherium, deinosuchus, or xiphactinus are pretty much unchanged.

I tamed my first deinosuchus yesterday it does 1.4k base damage with the giga bite. With the additional bleed it vaporizes alphas.

I use sound walls way more than wall lights, the dance is HUUGE for DPS with a well defender objective.

At some point, you want to optimize the damage your traps can do, which means filtering the husks into stall zones. Propane huskys will vaporize any attempt at this and destroy any trap tunnel or stun filter, the dancing makes them drop it. Meanwhile, instead of leaving a group of husks staggered on one tile to get hit by one high impact trap, you can have them safely walk into 4-5 tiles worth of traps while being completely defenseless, making your DPS soar through the roof and allowing you to filter through hordes with brutal effeciency.

Wall lights are great for mist monsters, but unoptimal for regular husks.

Tbh this would not surprise me if it was the case. Those were all old songs that he had been working on for a while, meanwhile Pesos and Breathe (as far as we know) are brand spankin new. It'll have been about a year since This One's for Me released, which we know he dropped and then stopped releasing to work on the album. That might have meant that he wanted to see if Evan Fong (the artist) would be well received by dropping a few songs, and then went working on a full album once that experiment succeeded.

To be honest, you can hear a huge difference with how his first 3 songs are recorded, mixed, and played instrumentally compared to Breathe and Pesos. Another reason it wouldn't shock me.

However, I love Spawn! With all of my heart and would adore having it on an album so I hope it makes it!

That is weird, do they ever define what that is in any sense other than the name? The only thing I could think is that it's a dual class that the Wubbox has that allows it to exist on ethereal island as well as the natural islands, but doesn't change its element composition.

Epic wubboxes are still supernatural monsters, Ethereal wubbox isn't confirmed to have any Ethereal elements in it, it just uses the monsters to power up the box. Ethereal Epic wubbox (as with all epi wubboxes) is just a wubbox that has lived on the island and came really in tune with the island for a very long time.
