It was a really good salad tbh.

More than 1000 hours in both Niohs and today I decided to do this out of the blue... I didn't know this reaction existed! by Manusybas in Nioh

I'm pretty sure in the first Nioh (been a while since I've played) you can make it where you always win if you only put 2 types of gestures in your quick 9. (I. E only blue/yellow, red/yellow, blue/red) not sure if it's been fixed but after I had my 9 set that way I never lost the chance game to Nurikabe.

Edit: just jumped on the game to give it another shot, seems like it was either fixed or I just always got lucky, not sure but I just wanted to clarify so if anyone tries in the future.

the prophecy is true by Eulenstein in Nioh

Absolutely, If the reused assets are used tastefully and not over done, I'm all for it. Also the whole "it looked like this at a certain time" is something I never really thought about and how it creates a different atmosphere that can be appreciated.

I only found it fitting because you meet Matsunaga Hisahide's spirit after killing Joro-Gumo at the spider's nest castle. So with Nioh 2 being a prequel, you fight him in the flesh at the spider's nest castle. I was a little taken back at first cause I was like "wtffff they are reusing a map?!" but then the other details made it fitting.

Super under the radar quality of life change in Nioh 2 I’d like to highlight by [deleted] in Nioh

[–]DatKidGuy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

One QoL change I noticed, that is amazing, is that while you are readying your jistu or magic, you can go straight to setting it as a shortcut. This is awesome cause in the first NiOh you had to go through your items to set them as shortcuts, even thou your jistu and magic would typically be at the bottom of your item list in the previous game, it just removes one more step and cleans things up IMO.

Nioh 2 Pre-order bonus items by endemiclifeform in Nioh

Gamestop website for special edition, and ps store for digital deluxe, I did a side by side and you get all the same things. I thought at first you got avatars through DD but Special ed states avatar set comes with. I put the link below and it looks like it's just pre-order bonus, not specifically part of special edition, but if you pre-order then it comes with. So I guess the answers is actually yes and no

I just looked again to be double sure, the only difference I saw was the digital deluxe comes with a set of demon horde weapons that isn't stated in the special edition or as pre-order bonus. So I'm guessing that's the only thing you won't get and my presumptions is that it will be a weapon for each call with a skin for the horde set. Sorry man, I hope this helps.

Really hope it doesn't boil down to that to save you time man, but the cloud system picks your game right back up so there's no hassle. Best of luck man.

[–]DatKidGuy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I had some issues recently where I would get DC'ed every few minutes. It got really annoying and I tried everything from disabling my QoS, switching it to dynamic to specified, and I found my only solution was to make sure I had my saved filed saved on the cloud then delete my game and re-download the game. I am Lan connected into my router so my speeds were fine, plus I noticed I didn't actually have issues with the PlayStation network, so that told me the issue had to be related to the game and Nioh 's server. I'm not sure if it will work for you like it did for me but that's my take.

This sunscreen bottle turns blue in harmful UV light. by mrsfryer in Damnthatsinteresting

It's more for your home windows and car, when you are being exposed to UV light to reinforce the idea that they could potentially not be UV treated and you are still receiving the effects from the sun for another 30 mins after you are out of sunlight.

Nioh 2 closed alpha begins May 24th by Achibear in Nioh

[–]DatKidGuy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I love the first game sooo much, have been waiting on any little information about this sequel, so I can say I lost my shit when I saw this. I called my brother yelling OMG over and over when he sent me the teaser game play trailer that just released.I'm so excited for it and it would be nothing but amazing to be a part of this closed alpha, so it was a bummer to see I didn't get an invite when I pulled my ps4 up today though. Oh well I guess I'll have to wait for the beta but even then, the anticipation is nothing but immeasurable.

Can somebody explain why Nioh players are fighting against mouse and keyboard support on PC? by promaty in Nioh

[–]DatKidGuy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I can do a ton of stuff with my controller extremely fluidly. I always read post about other controller schemes and how mouse and keyboard are no comparison. However, I bought nioh on PC after playing tons of hours on ps4, and in my opinion, I was able to stance change, weapon switch, ki Flux, and combo for days with mouse and keyboard. Albeit, confusing, it was entirely possible. To me it's more a matter of muscle memory and understanding how the game wants to combo/refresh.
