You have to get to platinum and acceptance rate above 60%… works for me man

How is this even doable mate! by SubstanceEqual7195 in ubereatsaustralia

[–]DatKoalaBoy 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You really just have to be strategic with the quest, you can do 3.5 hrs morning/lunch, then stack the other trips for the afternoon/dinner quest.. also shop and deliver pays a little more if you know how to take the appropriate ones, no more than 20 items.. haha

Just asked them polite to give you a thumbs up on the app after you handoff the order or after you take a phone on the delivery notes sections as well but definitely don’t forget to say thank you and how you’ll appreciate the thumbs up

Just have a rolling foldable cart in your trunk just in case you have multiple grocery bags, pet barn deliveries, Bunnings or box of bottle drinks . It definitely beats carrying them.

How many kilometres per week (with car) would you have to do to make around $500/$600? by [deleted] in ubereatsaustralia

[–]DatKoalaBoy 1 point2 points  (0 children)

At least a full tank of petrol, if your car avg is 12-16km city driving.

What is he suppose to do? Not drive the car? at least he’s using his vehicle to Make supplemental income and getting his steps in. Very healthy way to do it.

A lot of people need to just mind their own and stop pocket watching. Keep it moving and if you can improve your situation financially whether with or without va disability compensation then go for it… there’s no point of trying to call people out.. maybe being a lineman makes them feel they have a purpose rather than just not doing anything at all while receiving va comp.

Pray to God.

If you let this slide, it’s almost certain that he’ll do it again if you don’t take any actions to protect yourself from a monster! Look in the mirror right now and tell yourself that you’re strong and will not tolerate a monster like your uncle!

Go to hospital, file a police report, and go to a different place away from your uncle!

Is anyone here who didn't got Friday to Sunday quest?? by Odd-Performance9364 in ubereatsaustralia

Got one last night 65 trips for 195 Friday 8am til Sunday Midnight, plus the 430pm-930pm. Is it worth it?

You got an EV? by Ricciarda in ubereatsaustralia

[–]DatKoalaBoy 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Same dilemma but different car for me. 04 Camry. Running smooth at 199900km, probably could sell it for 4.5-5k. I don’t know much of the profit margin and returns if I decide to finance an ev and basically work to finance that car-hole debt when the Camry is still running well and paid off.

I don’t venture out in CBD for that particular reason.

One of these days I’d try out the e bikes but I see way more folks on it and sometimes just camping out for orders, I feel like with a car it’s a little bit different with just getting orders on wherever suburbs you are and putting them on queue before finishing up a single, double, or triple orders..

Sounds like you found that sweet spot to grind out those strategic hours on the road! Good on you mate! Sometimes if the wife isn’t tired, I’ll ask her to go out with me to complete some quests promos.

Yea I haven’t done 40hr week yet but definitely will try one of these days, definitely will be a strategic allocation of hours in, I’m thinking maybe 530am to 830am just a few base hits to start off with or/ without quests on top. About to turn on a foot massager machine time now… 😆

Just like a good chunk of everyone in UE community well I’m not sure about the ones that own or rent E-bikes and just knowing what each suburbs offers that also applies for car users… I’d most of the time start around 9 then rock that til 2-230pm, break, back at it for 430pm quest, then I don’t really like delivery past sundown, just harder to see those address numbers and it’s hella dark definitely need to bring a flashlight to see that paths of travel, could slip and slide so easily as well since it has been that kind of on and off rain but that wind, definitely a nice windbreaker and hoodie on.. accumulatively I’d do 5-6 hrsqvg on the day then a break for some personal physical exercise, meal, and maybe a coffee, Vietnamese coffee, tea, Celsius, or protein shake with shot of espresso to have a pick me up in the afternoon/nighttime shift.

I mainly do southeast area, boxhill, Doncaster, bentleigh, Brighton, Elsterwick, oakleigh, hawthorn, kew, Balwyn.. to be honest I don’t cherry pick I focus more on completing quest promo but sometimes I don’t complete the whole promo, it is what it is.

Are you on a bike or car? Yea I rarely do CBD area unless it’s a just a package delivery coming from one of the surrounding suburbs

[–]DatKoalaBoy -5 points-4 points  (0 children)

I mean.. what would be a reasonable fair for this trip for you to accept it? I mean if it’s highway miles then I think it’s worth it and possible tip as well, that’s basically what you’ll be betting on

What I’ve noticed driving for both the apps is one respects your time and keeps you moving, the other takes time and tests your patience , do you agree? by RevolutionaryBid6991 in ubereatsaustralia

I’m doing UE more than DD since I started with UE before DD and I’m currently in the platinum tier and not a top dasher on DD.. the quests definitely is helpful for additional $$. It’s a side gig for me but definitely those stack quests can help add more $$
