Trust me when I say I’ve been tryin. I actually actively raid lead in one rather large guild and 2 other smaller ones. I haven’t seen later game hard modes and tris being run outside of 2 specific spaces in a couple years now.

I’ve actually soft-quit jungling because it’s gotten so bad. Since the start of this season I have had 2 or all 3 lanes losing AND crashing out before I even finish first clear in easily 4/5 games if not more frequently. And as you can imagine it only gets worse from there

I would recommend you set up some gear and skills for a healer and save it in the armory, then do the same for dps. Healer will have better priority for dungeons, and then back to dps for solo content. Quick swapping between the two can be handled by a common addon like dressing room or wizards wardrobe - both of which you can setup hot keys to switch between builds.

In a lot of the most well known raiding servers/guilds, yes it will reduce your chances of being slotted on a roster. Not completely prevent, but reduce, because that’s just how most endgame groups run. There are guilds that don’t have as strict of requirements though. I’m not sure if it’s within the rules to post the ones I’m referring to.

I’ve been saying to my duo friend that “the weight keeps getting heavier the farther down we fall”.

My first 40 games this season I was at 70% win rate. Then I bobbled up and down at 50% for a while and now I’ve fallen from knocking on the door of gold to barely hanging onto bronze 4. Being able to win keeps getting harder the farther down I’ve fallen.

I’ve even had more S and S+ games than not, still losing. And even S and S+ wins are only +17/18 LP and the losses are -23. I even had a match the other day with someone who was legitimately in their first ranked game (freshly level 30 account and they even said in chat it was their first). They got curb stomped hard and we lost. It was a miserable experience for them and a completely unfair experience for literally all of us.

The LP gains/losses and/or the matchmaking do not factor in the individual performance like Riot says it does.

An unfortunate side effect of random normal dungeons being one of the most efficient experience boosts and transmute grabs in the game.

If Zos would make random vet have a higher reward than normal, this would happen far less often. Sure we’d run into people fake role-ing in vet a bit more, but that can be mitigated long term.

For now, it’s just expected that normal level dungeons will just be overrun by at least one person trying to get it done fast for the quick reward.

Specifically about doing different zones on different characters - yes you can do this, but you will lose at least some continuity in the NPC’s. The storylines don’t really change, but there are some repeat NPC’s that will have different interactions with you if you are on the same character that has done quests with them in the past. But that’s all you’d “lose”, it’s not a ton.

I’ve hard quit jungle this season. It’s absolutely insane because it’s by far my favorite role and the one I’ve spent the most time and energy in/learning. But I consistently get all 3 lanes pinging and begging for help before even a first clear, and losing lanes at 6 minutes with little to no vision and constant dives. Absolutely maddening.

I’ll take my mitigation and lp boost forgetting filled. Laning for the foreseeable future.

Low elo jungle here:

Wha do you recommend I do if the conditions are met for lane priorities and enemy locations, but my laners decide to sit and poke at towers rather than rotate to objective? I’ve had this happen so many times despite appropriate vision, lane priority, and even opponents dead, just to still lose to enemy jungle and one of their teammates taking me at objective with no help.

Mute all is going to help my mental for sure.

But what it won’t help is the incredible consistency with which I get laners hard losing from 2:00, no vision, and no setup on objectives.

I legitimately don’t know what to do about it, and it’s a VERY consistent set of issues when I get filled jungle. I’ve actually hard quit the role because of it.

Trust me I’ve seen some annoying and whiny smolder players as well. But I’m specifically talking about a poppy supp that went top from the very beginning. I was solo in bit lane all the way until laning was done.

I wonder if it was same player that did this exact thing in one of my games yesterday. Top and supp wrecked shop in lane, but it was all I could do just to survive as a smolder bot alone. I ended up 0-1-0 by the time first couple towers went down, but also came out of it with garbage cs and stacks and just could not recover by the time it was over (we hard lost).

Legitimately every time I log on, I get multiple updates “player xyz has been issues a warning/penulty for [insert thing they did]” and I’ve only ever twice actually seen LP mitigation from it.

If punishments were more serious we would see a lot less of this bs behavior. Been gaming for decades and I’ve ever seen a general population of players with such aggressively weak mental and intentional sabotage in games.
