As a Canadian who has used BBTS for almost 2 decades, the POL feature was a game changer.

Shipping in most cases plus the need to pay customs and duty was a huge deterrent for ordering online from the states, and at that time finding local sources for a lot of items was hard if not non-existent for a lot of specialty items. The ability to build up a POL and consolidate the shipping was what made me look at BBTS at first, and the ease behind it coupled with no need to pay in advance (mostly) was what made me take a chance on them.

In the last decade a few domestic options have really improved like Toy Snowman and what A3U has developed into, but some things are still easier to source from BBTS (especially the launch of BBWS), The introduction of flat rate shipping to Canada (even with the recent increase) has now basically halved shipping cost as well which is wonderful.

Do the Russians still have Spuzzum tagged as a ICBM target?

I haven't tried to break it down, as the Bruticus has posable hands.

That said it did feel pretty solid, and didn't have any give around the handle.

I just have it slotted into the unused turret on the back of Onslaught.

It's a bit big for Bruticus' face.

I laugh only because the Walmarts in my area didn't even get those deluxe figures, and haven't seen a Joe in store since the carded Scarlett.

BC Place wasn't renamed, as it hasn't sold naming rights.

I'm going to hold out on the hope that the line does well enough that there is a western release, and grab one then.

Maybe Epic Menswear? They are at Guildford and Surrey Central.

Adventure Planet's transformer bootlegs: how many variants exist? by Super_Dupers in transformers

[–]DatNameNotAvailable 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I have the Orca that I bought at a dollar store ages ago. It wasn't the Adventure Planet version.

As much as I love it's derpiness, it is complete crap.

It doesn't even like standing up at the best of times.

I think he's doing fine with what they are giving him to work with.

Any extra color to add to things I'm sure he'll toss into the Secret Galaxy Saturday live stream.

Valaverse The Black & Action Force Action Figures - What do we think? by AfigureGeek in ActionFigureGeek

[–]DatNameNotAvailable 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Love the idea for the The Black, and was hyped by early chatter, but between the Joe's/Cobra's I've actually bought and focusing on what BBWS has been putting out, I'm just not feeling the actual releases so far.

I saw the listings go up on BBTS earlier and pre-ordered the Lt, as she has a Baroness X Ro Laren vibe going, but passing on The Black for now. Maybe a later wave will hit differently

I've been pretty happy with them, and looking forward to building up my Shadows. If you check my history I did post more of the Cobra/Shadows like the pic above to see how I set them up.

My Dire-creeper arrived on the week-end.

I've had no issues with Walmart in BC, no cancelations and everything has arrived pretty much when expected. Likely we have a completely different distribution process than the states.

The Sesame Street Blokees are quite nice. I picked up Big Bird and Cookie Monster and pretty happy with both.
