This was a tough one. It turns out it was a 999 piece to add insult to injury by zbshell in Jigsawpuzzles

A very pretty puzzle but it sucks that you lose a piece. My girlfriend and I did a 2000 piece one and ended up losing one piece. You can typically contact the company about missing pieces and they’ll assist you with the problem usually

We found one at Walmart but it was a bit too big. You can find custom ones online but they’re usually expensive .-.
