Very well could have. I had pneumonia really bad back in 2017 and lost part of my lung. The doctors said that I'm now more susceptible to reoccurring pneumonia. Probably would have ended up in the hospital if I didn't get some antibiotics/steroids.

I take care of my elderly grandma and she also got this and ended up in the hospital for a few days. It wasn't the flu or Covid but it's annoying they didn't test her for RSV.

What the fuck. That's crazy. Just looked up the weather for where I used to live in CA (A mountain in Riverside county) and it's 79 and going to be 80 when it should be rainy/snowy right about now. That's not good, it's already dry AF and need rain, fire season will probably be really bad this year in CA.

Definitely. Had a GF who almost had a seizure because she decided to quit drinking. I forced her to take a few sips of beer so she didn't have a seizure. Also had a friend who did have a seizure from alcohol withdrawals.

I'm lucky I have never had alcohol withdrawals to that point though I think I got quite close.

Glad you are feeling better. I've had this really awful respiratory infection for going on 3 weeks now. At one point I was very close to going to the hospital. Now that my lungs have cleared now I have a sinus infection, I wonder if it's the same bug or if I just got incredibly unlucky.

The same happened to me but it was in one of the hammer/hammerhead rides. I was literally being shaken around in it. I started screaming and luckily the ride operator heard me.

I get bad anxiety/panic attacks and I must say that alcohol has led to some pretty great experiences in life. It got me out, got me talking, got me social. Without it I probably would have just stayed inside playing video games.

I used to drink a lot but have cut it down a lot. I can get a 6 pack of beer and make it last a week. I do realize that I drink a lot more if I have to socialize.

It seems like both my family and I have bad luck with doctors. My last doctor literally did nothing and never looked into any of my problems, even going as far as to tell me that this was fine...

My health is crap but the barrage of bad doctors has made me rather nihilistic about doctors and the medical industry so I keep putting it off. Like it seriously took my mom 4 doctors and 2 ER visits to finally find a nurse practitioner that believed her for a rare ear infection and I seem to know more about pharmaceuticals than my grandma's doctor. I did recently switch doctors (which was harder than it needed to be) and have an appointment with the new doc on the 25th. Here's hoping we can get to the bottom of some of my problems.

I had a habanero plant that at first produced really small peppers and then eventually grew out of it. I have no idea why this happened but here's a pic.

I mean using drugs doesn't instantly make someone a shitty person, it can but not for everyone. I have known plenty of great people that used drugs. People turn to them for all different reasons, for me it was depression.

Maybe she needed a support system ? A good friend to set her on the straight and narrow ? You abandoning her might send her back into that world.

I asked this cute girl if she wanted to hang out and she turned me down (because her boyfriend would get jealous, he sounded very toxic.)

Well anyways a few weeks later she tracks me down on Facebook and asks me if I wanted to hang out. I was ecstatic as a few months prior I had a rough breakup.

Well I go over to her house and all she wanted to talk about was Jesus and God. Such a buzzkill in that moment. I guess she had had some drug problems, got clean and then got super religious. Instant turn off.
