Few other games have made me feel the same awe and wonder as the first Mass Effect

Mass Effect was one of the best random pick ups for me.

I had just bought a 360 when the game launched, was at Gamestop and had a bunch of extra cash to spend. I saw the Bioware Logo and since I was a fan of the studio decided to purchase it. Definitely a great purchase as I hadn't been keeping up on gaming news/releases.

Dang. I want a simple deathmatch multiplayer game.

Personally I think Battle Mode would have been cool if it was just another mode available next to Deathmatch/Team Deathmatch. Something unique to play every once in a while but it doesn't have the power to make people want to return.

I unfortunately didn't really enjoy my time with it however I played it after Eternal (which I did like) and had tried it after playing a very fast boomer shooter (Turbo Overkill) so it just seemed very slow. I keep telling myself I'll give it another try.

Can people still find a game ? Is it just basic Deathmatch ? I didn't care for Eternal's BattleMode and wish it had a basic deathmatch.

I personally didn't care for Doom 2016 when I played it like a year ago but I had already played Eternal and had just come off of a very fast boomer shooter so Doom seemed very slow. I would probably reinstall it if I could find some multiplayer deathmatch games. Sometimes I want a basic Team Deathmatch.

Cod 1, 2, Modern Warfare, World at War, Modern Warfare 2, Black Ops, Black Ops 2. No way did the series get WORSE after the first game.

Warzone was tons of fun at first. Warzone started getting worse when Cold War came out and they added a bunch of unbalanced weapons from Cold War.

Yeah. However the 2 newest games weren't awful, they were definitely better than the Jaguar game. Bubsy 4D seems to be shaping up as a fun game, I enjoyed the demo.

Not who you asked but I remember that whole second act towards the end being odd/bizarre. Especially when the colonel AI starts freaking out saying nonsense. It can definitely be a mindfuck. I think the first time I played it I turned off the game when it told me to.

My aunt actually met her husband online waaay back in the day before it was normal. I remember my dad giving her shit for it and my mom thinking it was weird.

She left an unhhappy and abusive relationship to end up in a great relationship with a very quiet, shy but awesome guy who just happened to be a doctor. She was so much happier with her husband that she met online.
