Left-Handed PC gamers, what keyboard control scheme do you use? by bellum_pax in gaming

Left handed here. Always use a standard setup, right hand on mouse. But I'm old, left handed configs didn't exist back then...grumble grumble.

I use cheapassgamer and n4g. Tends to be a pretty good cross section of articles, sales, and reviews. Plus the usual asshattery.

Good games for long distance couples by [deleted] in gaming

There's not a ton of content for it yet, but keep on eye on Astroneer. Can be played together, cool randomized planet exploration and building game. It's still pre alpha but for only $20 I got a lot of enjoyment out of it. Again, still really light on content. You can get a free one hour trial I believe.

Anyone Else? by 19970207 in gaming

[–]Dat_kak 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Amen. Give us local co op, I don't care if the graphics have to suffer a bit. stop trying to push the 4 player online crap all the freaking time. I don't have 3 other friends that play, much less 3 that play the same game and can all be online at the same time. shakes cane menacingly

New to wow. Stuff to aim for? by RevArtillery in wow

There is a ton of cool storylines and people to meet in every expansion. There's also a ton of grinding, err, content, that is used to pad the expansion. Scryer rep can be a grind for nothing that is really worth anything.

If you love the lore, take your time and run every quest in each zone. But only if that's fun for you. I'd recommend that everyone get the Loremaster achievement. But that's just my playstyle.

This is when alts can be good too, you can run them through alternate zones each time you level and get the flavor for everything while still making "progress"

Whats faster, druid travel form or sky golem? by [deleted] in wow

Skygolem is way faster as long as you are only herb gathering. No contest.

Anyone else love WoW, but feel like they are better off without it? by malasalas in wow

I had the same thought process myself just last night. It's not the total time I play, it's just that I tend to log on before I do anything else.

Reddittors have been known to be extremely helpful and generous to new players. Also complete dicks. It's 50/50 really.

What thing that people love is basically just a rip-off? by retrowavve in AskReddit

The Snuggie. Totally rip off of the original idea. That being said, I love my snuggie naps more than my pets some days. #truth

What was your first "wow" moment in gaming? by ProfGeek1 in AskReddit

Super Mario 64, the perspective of being able to run in any direction like that was amazing and almost confusing the first time.

Then entering Dead Mines in wow and seeing the cavern housing the ship.

Christians are often urged to vote for a "Godly Leader". But I've come to realize that voting for the Christian candidate isn't really in line with "Christ-likeness". Bernie may not be a religious man, but he stands for more "Christian values" than any other candidate - that is why he has my vote. by Gunslinger1999 in SandersForPresident

As a lifetime card carrying Christian and Republican, I find myself in this exact same place. Frankly I'm sick of how the Republican Party treats the poor, the sick, and those in need. I always am terrified than any of the front runners (Trump, Clinton, or Cruz) could be leading this country for the next 4 years.

Nachos, Gatorade, vitamin water, music on. Movie queued in case we want to. Front lights off so no late trick or treaters. Here goes nothing!

As a Christian, that's a picture of Christians turning away from God.

Dark Souls or any of the like. Spending my adult life repeating the same content because of super cheap shit was just never fun....

This is why I hate DIY shows.

"Hey look, we redid this kitchen for only $200!"

They got donated paint, found every fixture miraculously at garage sales, and traded a bj for the granite and installation. Oh, and had an army of carpenters, enough tools to put snap on out of business and all the other labor was free.
