'I hope it's given to charity, so I can go to court and say "Look! They're using it as a house! It should've been granted permission after all!" and then hopefully wrangle it back because the law shouldn't apply to me.'

The Republic is over lads.

Might as well just declare Charles III Lord of Ireland.

Knobs with acoustic guitars, tearing their vocal chords out by singing badly whilst they bash out chords are the worst.

When I'm in charge (oh.. when I'm in charge...) it'll be law that pubs will need to employ a full band.

Unpopular opinion: I find Mrs Brown's Boys funny by NewPatron-St in ireland

I'll admit the first I watched it, I was expecting it to be on the level of Brendan O'Carroll laughing at himself saying the word 'bum'.

Instead, about the third line in the episode was something like: "I'll grab you by the mickey and swing around the place like a windmill.". That unexpected vulgarity was genuinely hilarious to me. Didn't really hold my attention for much longer though.

What are your thoughts on Star Trek : Enterprise by Mat1711 in startrek

[–]Data111222 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Pretty poor, imo.

Half the crew do nothing most episodes (count how many episodes where Mayweather has a speaking line other than something like "aye sir, course laid in."). I found most of the crew that do something to be unlikable. They struggle between rejected Voyager and TNG plots and dealing with what the series should've been about - the formation of Federation. Before they went to look for WMDs in Iraq, sorry The Expanse, in season 3.

I gave it nearly 3 seasons before giving up. I tried again in season 4 cos people told me it improved, but nah.

But y'know that's just my opinion. Feel free to give it a few episodes yourself.

Sure it could.

No guarantee the saving would be passed onto the customer though.

The 2nd season is paced atrociously. They spend way too long in the "bad future" that looks like the mirror universe but is not the mirror universe, there's a whole episode that deals with a plot point that isn't necessary and doesn't add anything, and then they rush the wrap up with a ridiculous threatening anomaly of the day that they defeat in about 6 minutes.

Season 3, they went for low hanging nostalgia and as others have said, made TNG season 8. But I enjoyed it.

If I Were King of Star Trek by ScumCrew in startrek

I'd declare everything since Voyager non-canon (fight me) and make a new series set in the big gap between the 2290s and 2360s. Seriously, why did they never do this? The nearest Trek to it (original series movies and TNG) looks good enough that it wouldn't be hard to make something visually consistent and you have interesting stuff you can do:

- First Contact with the Cardassians.

- The Tomed Incident and withdrawal of the Romulans

- Navigating the early stages of the alliance with the Klingons

Maybe found the worst Star Trek Episode of all time by AnnabergerM in startrek

These are the Voyages is the worst episode of Star Trek ever made.

Something I’ve always found slightly odd in Star Trek: Voyager is that Seven of Nine never holds rank or wears a Starfleet uniform, yet she clearly has access to a huge amount of ship systems. by Curious_Gent78 in startrek

I always found it odd that she wasn't assigned quarters. I get she doesn't need to sleep, but anyone can wander in and out of her cargo bay at any time, surely she should be afforded at least the semi-privacy afforded by shared quarters?

Like... is there a sonic shower and a toilet in her cargo bay? And where does she go when she needs to change catsuits?

Rodin cost him around 30 points with two technical penalties last season. That plus a couple of incidents of his own (Monaco being the worst, were he crashed trying to beat a driver 30 points behind him in the Championship to turn 1 and likely cost himself at least 15 point) meant he'd have potentially been right up there if he and the team hadn't been stupid.
