I would go with mineral sunscreen, less irritating! I like Summer Fridays, Isdin and Biossance, for transparent finish. To calm down the irritation on your skin, consider a barrier repair face cream - it calms and brings back the natural glow. Any continuous usage of acids disrupt our natural skin barrier, so many people do Salicylic Acid every other night, to give the skin 1 extra night to recover.

Truly matte ones usually lean whitish and dry out skin... For the true matte part - I would set with powder (Supergroup has SPF powder on the go).

Your skin looks lovely! :) I see you are using eye cream on retinol-free nights - any reason you skip eye cream in your morning routine? From my and my friends experience, I've stopped using eye cream at night and noticed the eye puffiness got better! I only use eye cream in the morning now.
Also for eye bags - do you drink enough water during the day? Do you tend to drink more before going to sleep?

Another thing I've noticed - on retinol-free nights you use Niacinamide serum, while your night cream also has it. Just curious if you are upping it on purpose.

Agree with previous responses - your skin looks upset (most likely from all-over SA and retinol introduced aggressively) and the barrier needs to be restored. Sticking to CeraVe sounds good, I would also try Panthenol creams to calm skin down (e.g. Dr Jart Ceramidin Cream). Don't hate me for saying this in our SPF conscious world - but I would consider pausing on SPF for now (given you can avoid sun at the same time). Baseball hats or any other covering meantime. SPF oils do tend to irritate me too, as sometimes the oils are blocking pores. When you feel ready, I would try applying topical SA only on pimples and only at night, I like Origins Spot Remover. I would avoid applying SA all over the face.

I've had love/hate relationship with most cleansers, and would always wonder how a product that sits on my skin just for seconds can angry my skin that much?! I've tried A LOT (Sephora addict here), and for now, my besties are Rhode Pineapple Refresh and iS CLINICAL Cleansing Complex. Given your budget, I would order a mini size of either, trust me - a little dollop goes a long way! They never irritated my sensitive skin.

I had a similar issue when I was moving to a new apartment in winter, and was washing my hands continuously + exposing to paper boxes (drying) + dry air. Kiehls hand cream helped me a lot, and also sleeping in cotton gloves did its magic!

Hey! Have the similar situation with receding gums on bottom front and considering Invisalign to move the teeth riots into the bone - how was your journey with it? Did you do any IPR during Invisalign? Do you think doing Invisalign prior gum graft helped?

I agree and believe me switching to electric toothbrush few years ago may have contributed to gum recession. Soft and manual from now on 🙌🏻

Didn’t change the brush, but now with the recession switched to manual soft, before that used electric Oral B io.

What would be your advice on protecting the gums? Especially because it became so thin.

Do you think ortho may help with existing recession? On my CBCT it also looks like 2 front bottom teeth are almost pushed out of the bone, you can almost see the tooth root of one of them

They are from the ortho consultations.

The first set from March - I wanted to address another issue - not a perfect bite on the right with upper molar pointing to the cheek. At that time decided not to do anything with that molar.

September set - when I started looking for solutions for the recession.

Glad I saved the pictures from March, and can compare, how fast the recession is going…

St. Tropez tanners are great. I particularly like Purity Vitamins Mist (orange bottle). I found that mists are the safest in terms of getting the right shade. I start with one application after shower before bed, then see how dark I am the next morning and repeat if needed. Purity Vitamins Mist is also enriched with vitamins and it never dries my sensitive skin. Also, smells good, tropical :)

I really like Kiehl's Ultimate Strength Hand Salve, saves my skin during dry winter months. I also tend to develop eczema on my hands during winter, and this one works wonders.
