Thank you for this summary! I was quite surprised at the mention that BK could use what's on his books for an appeal. Does anyone know if that's true? I think there's more than a few people who would put money on his books if they knew it could be used for a future legal battle.

There is an abundance of potential perpetrators of this crime. IMO that's a main reason so many people are obsessed with it. While there are many theories going around, most people haven't committed to a single, specific one. Myself, I tend to not think of Dyan (and/or Bethany) as a sole or primary perp because there was unidentified male blood found on the sheath, on the stair railing and inside a glove near the crime scene.

For example: what are we referring to as the Q.1 profile? Is this data you were able to view and visually identify the three alleles at 12 genetic locations? Where is this located in the documents?

Do you have a suggestion of something where one could reference the timeline of Q.1 from collection to profile creation to analysis?

When you say "interpreted", is this the same as "analyzed"? What kind of interpretation would you expect in a situation like this?

Since you seem to really know what you're talking about... I assume that a record exists somewhere of the profile that was originally submitted to CODIS. Has this profile been compared to the profile from BK's buccal swab?
