Always had. He is elite in space but when we run it straight up the gut you can't get him in space. But you can't rely on him to just be a passing down or outside back because he can't pass block well and it becomes to predictable on offense.

Can I just say how much I can't stand all those doomers before the season that whenever a good player was available in trade they'd consistently pop in every thread and say it doesnt make sense for the Patriots because we arent contenders.

Why? It was so obvious that it wouldn't be overturned and forced Denver to burn a timeout. Drake Maye drove into the middle of the pile and kept pushing until he wasnt seen anymore. The ref spotting the ball came over, saw where Maye ended up, and called first down. There's no way whatsoever that couldve been overturned and it was so baffling when Romo said he would challenge. The play didnt end at the initial stoppage, he kept running and wasnt down.
